I would not recommend this place for long term treatment. It was good for the first few years, but that's it. I stayed on the same dosage for almost 5 years with not so much as feedback from the doctor despite me telling the doctor my condition had gotten worse. My advice is to find a doctor that cares and listens to your concerns.

From the front office to the back and lab employees in between. I was treated with kindness. I've seen about 15 different doctors, specialist, surgeons.. etc. in the last 4 years , I've had several different surgeries, painful test and procedures, gone through so many different medications and had to deal with their side effects. My life has been totally shattered. Today was my first visit with Dr. Ball, I had heard that he was very kind from several of my own patients, being a nurse I always want to know how my patients feel about the specialist that we refer out to. They've all said that he was so kind, so helpful, and most said he helped them regain their lives back. I can't even express how correct they were, he is so kind spoken, his bed side manner is amazing, and I really felt like he saw me, that he felt my misery and really wants to help. I did not feel like just a number or that I should feel ashamed of the fact that I'm in daily pain and need help. Tomorrow when I return to work, I will give all the details to the doctor that I work for and we will only refer to him in the future. People who hurt everyday, all day, need help ! They don't need to be judged or treated as if they are drug seekers, or be made to feel ashamed. Yes there is an opioid epidemic ( I didn't get opioids) but even if I did the epidemic and street use has made it so hard for people who are suffering and need help from these medication types to get the medications that would help them to be able to enjoy and live life. The entire office worked very smoothly , everyone knew their job and stayed right on time completing task that were needed done before I seen Dr. Ball. I was so impressed by the stream line, and time management. If you are looking for someone and need help, please consider Dr.Ball... he can help you without making you feel ashamed or apologetic that you need pain management.

Those reviews are from such a long time ago. Dr. Fox has one of the highest quality of employees. From Dr Fox, the office manager, the lab workers, my Nurse Practitioner, her assistant, and the front of the office. They are all top notch professionals, kind, caring, and compassionate. It is one of the only offices of the many I go to that do not treat you like a number on a file. They encourage me to take my time explaining my issues AND THEY LISTEN ! They treat me with kindness and respect ALWAYS. The entire office is very responsive to any and all my needs. Weather it is rescheduling an appointment or a new type of pain that has started, the employees at Active Healthcare go above and beyond to help me. I have seen them treat other patients and the "office culture" runs true throughout. Patients and their caregivers are treated with dignity and respect. I would Not recommend any office other than ACTIVE HEALTHCARE for weight loss, aging maintenance and Pain Management, etc.

I switched Pain Centers about 6 months ago and Dr Fox actually took the time to examine me and introduce himself. My last place never even looked at my back plus I never met the doctors only staff and PA. Rachael is a very good listener and takes the time to get to know you as a person. You never feel rushed and treated like an assembly line at a factory. She is very intelligent and very compassionate on what she does. Chelsea is also very nice and I enjoy going there every month. The staff are very professional (everyone is). As busy as they are they always smile and take good care of you. Teresa Mustaffa

My name is Penny Watts, i am a disabled veteran, 49 years old., have had major neck surgery and…read morehave a titanium cage in my neck. I also have a pain pump in my lower back. I have been going to your offices for over three years and never had any problems. Currently I am going to the canton office simply because it is closer to where I live. During my very first appointment at this office I was sat down and informed by a Doctor that I needed an injection. I refused after about 30 minutes due to the fact that I have had them before with no results. Then I was lectured about my quality of life and how an injection would fix my problems, even though i felt I had no problems with my quality of life. Finally I was able to end the conversation by saying that I would at least consider having an injection. My next appointment was pretty much the same thing, if I had an injection my quality of life would be better..., I again refused and mentioned that I would go to physical therapy. But as I went to refill my prescription I noticed that it was lowered. Because I didn't notice until a week later I waited until my next appointment to ask about my drop in pain medicine. During that month I slept more than anything else and it became very hard for me to do the normal everyday things, like shower, due to the amount of pain. Thus my quality of life suffered. The next appointment I was again asked about having an injection, again I refused. My prescription was still not fixed. The last time I went to my appointment I was again asked about injections, After i agreed to have an injection the problem with my medication was finally addressed. I have been on the same medication for three years now. My quality of life has improved greatly, I walk everyday, I have lost weight that I needed to lose, I exercise as much as I can, and I feel good about myself. I also live with my elderly parents and take care of them to the best of my abilities. I cannot afford to have injections and I do not feel they will help me.I also do not feel that I should be almost pressured into having an injection when I do not believe that I need to have an injection to improve my already great quality of life. Plus my prescription should not be almost used against me when I do not agree with another about how to improve my own personnal quality of life. Thankyou for listening. Sinceraly, Penny Watts

Medicare pt are seen like a herd of cattle & then made to wait on their prescriptions to be sent to the local pharmacy. You have to wait on the doctor,pA , NP to finish their work for the day before they send your script to a local pharmacy. I would get the medications in my hometown but per the PA ,well est places like walmart & etc dont take thier prescriptions. This forces you to get them locally. Most of the times if not everytime the scripts are sent to the pharmacy after they close at 6pm. Office closes at 5 & staff is nasty with you about enquiries as too why they are not able to complete your appt with your meds. I travel a great distance to get here. I schedule so that i can follow their rules & get back home safely. They dont care. Often ive had to wait til the next day even over the wknd because they dont care. Just because I'm on medicare i shouldnt be discriminated against or treated cruelly because I simply want to see the doctor, get my med & go home.
