Breakfast at the lounge was substantial. We loved every dish we tried as well as the buffet. We also visited the lounge a couple of times in the evening for a drink. Staff is so nice and really made our stay memorable. The location is very good too, with the tram right outside the hotel. If in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here. Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink (NA) and snack.We were able to sit at a comfortable chair and bistro table and enjoy our snack and drink while we were checked in. It felt more like a lounge than a hotel check-in. The spa has 3 styles of pools - jetted, soaking, and a floating outdoor "champagne" pool, sauna, relaxation chairs, steam room, hammam, cold plunge. It was the ultimate relaxation. Tips: Take advantage of the spa and reserve your time at the spa ahead of time if it's a busy travel season. Have a drink at the lounge and chat with the bartender.

There's an outdoor pool which is see-through and you can see the people underneath you, it's really cool. When you sign in they have you sit down in comfy chairs and offer you a welcome drink. One of the best hotels we stayed at in Sweden.

I had a double room that was quite big, for what I am use to in Europe. the bathroom was decent size with a walk in shower and heater floor. I had a friend stay in a double room as well, her room and bathroom were bigger, however she had a tub and no heated floor. The noise outside could be a bit bothersome, especially on weekend nights, so you may want to try for a room at the front of the building. The staff was very friendly and knew the area quite well and gave some good recommendations for dinner. The breakfast included a nice variety of meats, cheeses, breads and fruit. It was quite filling and plenty of options. The downfall is that there is no gym and other hotels in the area included a gym and were priced comparably. I also found myself without shampoo/conditioner in the mornings because housekeeping has not replenished them.

I knew I had booked quite a small room at the time of booking but the room was so small. The room was clean and modern, we had a TV but sometimes it lost signal and the bathroom was like a pod and also very small. Whilst some people might be really bothered about the size of the room, I didn't actually mind it. After all, I was only there to rest for an hour before going out to dinner and to sleep at night. Everything else was pleasant. The breakfasts were good. It was mainly continental breakfast but had some warm scrambled egg and bacon. There was choice of rolls and bread, jam and marmalade, boiled eggs, cheeses and ham. There was also teas, coffee and juices as well as cereal. Breakfasts were included in our room price. Overall a good experience and no real complaints. I'm not a particularly fussy person and I'd recommend this hotel to friends.

The interiors are absolutely beautiful and make you feel like your on a REAL holiday. The quality of the towels, mattresses and sheets are also just as luxurious as they look. Once I checked in I didn't really want to leave my room! I'll also note that the hotel was very clean and quiet, which is of course a plus. Loved our stay here and excited to come back some day in the future.

I loved the room. It was, as the lobby, very cozy and neat and big enough for two people to stay in. The breakfast had anything you needed and more. I especially loved that they had a separate section for us lactose intolerant people in one special corner of the breakfast room. Tips: Take tram 1 or bus 60 and get off at Stenpiren from Central station. Super fast and easy! Otherwise, just walk along the river, it takes about 15min.

You get an actual physical key that goes into an actual lock that is on a huge key fob, and there is a place you drop it when you leave and then you pick it up when you return. The system for this is time tested, and it works very well. Staff were amazing every time I dropped off or picked up a key. Breakfast was wonderful, I stayed for four nights so quickly fell into a good pattern with what I made and left for each day happily caffeinated and with a full stomach. Rooms are fine - it is a very old hotel, so they are not spacious, but the room I had was bigger than I expected it would be, and plenty of space. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. The location is great, I walked everywhere I needed to go, but the public transportation system is sprawling and easy as well. Highly recommend a stay here.
