Not much to buy inside other than drinks and coffee and a few other bits but by far the most popular gas station in Ballinteer Ave. The pumps are always filled with cars! If it's this busy it must be good gas??? !!! read more

Not just a hot counter with shrivelled sausages, or even an Apache or an Abra, but a real-life Wimpy burger joint. Before this, this was exotic fare that could only be procured in the UK. The store is huge with up to forty aisles all stocked with a colossal assortment of diverse goods to hopefully pander to your every need. The store is so big that I was at a loss trying to find toothpicks on one occasion, having carried out a far-reaching search I approached the customer services desk who were able to look up 'Toothpicks' on their system and tell me exactly which aisle number the toothpicks resided in as well as how many shelves from the top they were on. I was delighted by this considerate and very beneficial service. I was happy that my request was not met by a groan but instead empathetic understanding that owing to the large size of the store it is inevitable that a new customer would have difficulty tracking down every pernickety thing they were looking for. This store can really pride itself on possessing a plentiful amount of stock. On one shopping trip I was able to buy all the toiletries I required for my last term at university, a memory card reader and a hammer. Such a versatile range of goods under one roof can only be a good thing, helped along commendably by kind and patient staff.

A smallish service station they also have a shop with a few grocery items and some random things like cards. It's a handy place to get something when you run out late at night. And if it's a busy time you might be waiting to pull in or out of this station because of it's closeness to the crossroads.

The price of fuel here per litre is always the best in the area. Why three stars? Their price of solid fuel is obscene. 4.99 EUR for a bale of briquettes. No thanks. Also, the forecourt makes for a lot of waiting in line, as there is really no room to go around anyone that might be in front of you. So as a result you may not actually get onto the premises and you'd have to keep driving. But if you can get onto the forecourt and you have the time to wait, then fill her up!
