It happened... I knew it would at some point. I fill the car with petrol walk up the the cash desk and just as I reach for my wallet, before my hand even touches my pocket, I know its not there. and it wasn't. The guy was very understanding, I explained I had come all the way from sandymount because theirs are the lowest priced for miles (and they are), I promised I'd be back within the hour. he believed me, didn't accept my offer of holding my son hostage, which was jolly decent really. ...and yes, I did come back any pay, yea of little faith. read more
Its a handy place for food and it has an ATM which are in short supply in the area. But the stand out thing for me about this place is that it will always be the place I bought a bottle of Pur Secco. Let's be clear - that is not a typo! The recession has led to much lowering of standards. I had bookclub, I was broke, I needed booze. The 7.50 bottle of Pur Secco (made in Germany from grapes obtained in Italy) was in my price range. It was surprisingly drinkable! read more
the location is good albeit tricky if thats not a contradiction. Its hard to get out of with traffic. But the price of petrol and diesel is better than anywhere around so I like ti. Also it has the usual other stuff you might run out of, brickets, tayto etc. And an ATM which is very handy and they are in short supply in this area. It gets busy and there is often a queue of cars waiting to get in and as Ireland still doesnt do pay at the pump this will not change. But for now I love this place. read more

Deli counter staff could be friendlier, I used to go here for lunch quite often but hardly ever do anymore as the deli counter staff can be quite abrupt. Petrol is cheap though which is always good! read more
