We called in to the Apple showroom and arranged for someone to call to measure and provide an estimate for soffits and board replacement. The man in the Apple showroom wanted us both to be at home for this. We arranged for the home visit for the next day. The next morning the man arrive, late, with no apology for being late. He confirmed my name, gave me his christian name, that was it. He didn't seem that friendly. There was no sign of any paperwork nor measuring equipment. I started to explain that we needed to go out in a few minutes, he thought about this, then repeated it. I then explained that there was full access around the property so that he could measure up. He look at me, repeated that we were going out, turn on his heel, walked to his car and drove off! Very bizarre. Be warned that they only want to estimate for the job when both partners are present. Our experience in the showroom was OK hence the one star. read more

We moved into our bungalow a few months ago and inherited a very large conservatory with old windows and roof that leaked. We decided we would replace the conservatory roof and windows and at the same time remove the half wall window and door leading from the lounge into the conservatory and replace it with sliding patio doors. We contacted Apple for a quote and explained what work we were looking to have done and were extremely pleased with the price we were given. The sales rep was extremely helpful and very pleasant as was the surveyor. The fitters were very curteous and polite and very efficient and made minimum mess. They were very tidy cleaned up after them and did an extremely good job. We were told it would take 3 days and it was finished in that time. We have been so impressed with Apple that we have recommended them to friends who have signed to have work done. read more

Apple did a great job of building our conservatory from start to finish. The design process was fantastic and we were shown lots of different designs and ideas - we even saw how our house would look with each of the designs built. The quote was very comprehensive and clear - even the stage payments were all laid out. The final price was surprising reasonable compared to the others so we were happy to order. We were surprised how quick and clean the building work was. They arrived on a Monday and the brickwork was completed by the end of the week. The chaps did eveything by hand to limit any mess in the garden - they even cleaned up every evening. The following week another Apple team arrived and installed the new convservatory. I recently had an installation at my new property. I had all my windows and the front and back doors replaced. I was kept informed at all stages from the minute the salesman left. The surveyor turned up within a week, two weeks later I had the Installation Manager call me to book fitting for the following week!! The fitting team turned up on time, all smartly dressed, informed me what they intended to do during the day and which rooms they would be working in. They laid CLEAN dust sheets down and set about their work. Well after a few cups of tea and a couple of days they left me with very smart new windows and doors and a very tidy installation with no mess at all. They tidied up all their working areas and hoovered and dusted too!! Would definately recommend this company. read more

Apple fitted our replacement front windows - the whole process from start to finish was excellent. Both the salesman and the surveyor were very thorough in all their explanations. The Installations agreed dates to fit in with our very busy schedule. When the fitting team arrived they were very polite and covered our carpets with clean dust sheets. The whole installation was completed with the minimum of disruption. We have since called the service department with one small problem which was dealt with very speedily. I had my conservatory fitted in September 2010, the whole process was brilliant!! The sales man who visited us talked thorough our options and we signed up!! From that point I was visited by a surveyor who measured everything up and drew up our final design! The conservatory was built, fitted and finished within 3 weeks and we are 100% delighted! All in all this was a superb experience from start to finish. I have to say that the 3 installers who did the work were extremely good. They turned up on time, they cleaned up after themselves each time and were extremely helpful. Not only was the work to a high standard, everything was explained in detail. The main person in charge was so passionate about the product and we were only too pleased to put a display board outside our property. The whole gang displayed a very good work ethos. Don't ever order a Rosewood colour conservatory from Apple. Many of the components don't match in colour. The conservatory was fitted almost a year ago and we still have a number of parts that do not match. After many visits to attempt to put things right and several letters they now appear to be blaming their suppliers for the mismatched components, and there is now 'nothing they can do'. Go elsewhere (anywhere!) for better finish and service. Unfortunately I can't put 0 out of 5, 1 out of 5 is too high! read more

I had my conservatory done a few months ago (just in time for summer!) - I must say, it's amazing! It looks great, and makes the house feel so much bigger! The service I received was good - the builders were very helpful, and actually quite tidy! All in all, very professional! We went to apple because they seem to be advertising everywhere for a conservatory quote. We ordered a conservatory but after 12 months it started to leak and damp has come up from the footings. We've contacted apple but nothing seems to ever be fixed. It seems they're good at sending sales staff round but not staff to fix our conservatory. I really would recommend anyone to go to elsewhere!! read more

Installation team top class very thorough and no mess whatsoever. Work checked at completion which was very reassuring. Only complaint, we had to ring the office to establish when fitting would take place as we hadn't heard for a while and we had requested a reasonably rapid completion. We had a conservatory built by apple about eighteen months ago. It was done very professionally, when they said it would be and the end result is excellent. No leaks, no problems. Different teams built different parts of it (base, brickwork, conservatory) and we had someone else install underfloor heating. I thoroughly recomemnd Apple Conservatories. read more
