I invested significant time and effort trying to get my project completed, but I repeatedly encountered problems with the development process, communication, and getting the application to the point I expected. I had to spend considerable additional time reviewing, correcting, and trying to finish work that I believed had already been completed. The most frustrating part was the amount of back-and-forth required. Instead of having a clear path to a finished product, I felt like I was continually having to identify issues, request corrections, and verify whether important requirements had actually been addressed. For anyone considering using the service for an important software project, I strongly recommend getting the scope, deliverables, ownership of the source code, deployment responsibilities, integrations, and final acceptance criteria clearly documented before committing significant time or money. Our Rep, Jerret Kasper, and Subject Matter Expert, Pranav Shah, were extremely helpful and worked so diligently with me through every bug and error so we could get the most out of the software client. Unfortunately, at the end of our test period X-Author did not have all of the capabilities our VP of Sales and myself needed to make it work.
