My son began working with Teacher Tutors when his grades were poor in all of his subjects. We were…read moreclueless where to begin as parents. We just wanted our son grow so much with the company and his tutor. His program was individualized so the tutor was targeting the skills he needed help with. We saw all areas of academic growth increase. Homework wasn't a battle anymore, his interest in school increased, his reading ability increased, and his confidence in himself. I truly appreciate how much care and concern was put into making sure my son's tutoring sessions were geared to really work with what he needed most. My son looked forward to the sessions and went to school the following day with happiness his homework was complete, ready to participate in class, and confidence on taking quizzes and tests. We were so pleased. Our once struggling child brought home straight A's this past marking period. Thank you Teacher Tutors.

My experience with this Fast Track location is through enrolling my son into its G&T prep course…read more It was a wonderful experience and I wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent that wishes to give their son or daughter the best educational opportunity possible. I can only speak about Daisy, my son's instructor. I believe she also manages this location. She is a wonderful instructor who clearly cares about the kids and empathizes with parents about this whole ordeal. Given her experience, she is also very knowledgeable about the exam and G&T process in general. She was very pleasant to deal with. I won't bore you with the details of the curriculum as you can find that out for yourself through Fast Track. The best thing I can say is that my son enjoyed the class and the "homework." Daisy made learning fun for him and the other kids, and that's important. It's also very structured and I liked that hw really was minimal. My son had enough stuff going on besides G&T prep, and he was only 4 years old! To summarize, Daisy did a great job preparing my son, and the results prove it. I recommend this location, this course, and Daisy.

We sent our daughter at age 4 for the gifted and talented kindergarten prep course. I wanted to…read moremake sure our daughter was prepared to be alone with another adult and focus and answer questions. The faculty was amazing, brand new and bright. The staff was wonderful and they even had a screen to watch from the lobby what she was working on in the room. After each visit we were sent home with suggested areas to focus on. Our daughter was fortunate enough to score 99 on the exam and is now in a wonderful G&T program that she loves. We were so impressed with this program and the teacher, Daisy, that we are now signing up our son for the 3 year old Explorer program in the Fall of 2014 as his first educational experience. I can't speak highly enough about the staff and recommend considering them for any of their programs.

On their website they also boast about the Kumon way, but they hire high schoolers without proper training. They will not be getting my business and should really think about how they treat parents considering there are plenty of other tutoring places around the area.

Five stars are not enough to rate Scholarskills because this program is 10 out of 10. Not only does…read moreit fill in the gaps of the educational system that our children are apart of, but it also gives them the tools to think critically and analytically when confronted with new/high-quality material. Since my daughter started Scholarskills, immediately her attitude towards learning has changed. Prior to this program, she had a very nonchalant attitude towards learning and when learning new material, would often back down. However, she has become audacious in learning and is up for any challenge because she now has the tools to thoroughly think things through. Being a part of this program as a parent is also a pleasant experience as I get to learn new teaching techniques, through observation, that I can implement at home. Pastor Vieira and his staff (Joshua and Caleb) are absolutely exceptional in their teaching methodology and are simply good/caring people. They are also highly educated and knowledgeable about the educational needs of your child as each child receives learning instruction and materials based on their needs (other programs give the same work in the same manner to every child despite the child's needs...trust me because this is coming from a parent who placed her child in a number of "big-name" tutoring centers.) This is an awesome program...if your child needs help with their academics or as in my case, wants your child to have that "edge," Scholarskills is the place!
