Hey, we all love to support local businesses and especially one that brings together smaller partnerships such as this one. However, I would make sure that as a consumer, you triple check your product before buying as there is no refund system there, only exchange. When I brought in a beautiful leather satchel I had purchased 3 weeks earlier because the stitching had become unravelled and spoke to the owner of the shop (who is the rudest person I have encountered in the retail industry) she told me that as it is a sale item, I should expect a bargain and have me the impression that it would fall apart. So, I should expect the product to be sub standard? Ok...I only wanted them to repair it. She told me to get it repaired myself for a fiver. I find this unacceptable and asked her to do it for me, she then asked me to empty my handbag there and then! I had no other bag to put the contents of my handbag in and at this point I didn't like her snooty, snotty attitude towards me. According to her, the leather repair shop is around the corner so I asked her when she would be able to get it back to me as it is now my only handbag and she told me rudely that she would not do that. This is disgusting behaviour from someone in a customer facing job, and she owns the business! Steer clear of this place and if you're a buyer/seller/manufacturer to appendage as this is a woman who clearly hasn't faith in her own buying otherwise she would not have warned me about buying sale stock in her shop.
