Everyone can send a text message or email, but who takes the time to search out a card shop, mill over the selection, think about the recipient while your perusing and pick out something you hope will please their senses most, pay the much higher fee for said card than sending a free electronic message, fill out the card, and then, and this is the worst part, go to the post office and wait on an interminable line to send your card?
Based on the imbalanced pros and cons, there seems little future for paper cards and airmail, which is why old school letter writing is such a powerful statement, beyond what is actually said.
With that in mind, I was delighted to discover the amazing selection of cards at this mom and pop papeterie while hoping to make a splash this mother's day and for my upcoming wedding anniversary.
I picked up three great cards and relished every second of my experience. I'm going to try and make this a habit from now on when the occasion calls for it. read more
