Around the corner, down the hill up the street a bit in Dillard is where you'll fine Carol's Back…read morePorch - Don't let the facade confuse you - this place gets its name legitimately, to get inside you literally have to come in off the back porch from the street side (there is an interior entrance from another business upstairs), it can get kinda junked up at times I'm sure but that's okay everybody like to be served up something different in this business. It gets a little too much garage sale like for me and maybe a little garbaged up to some but you just know there is treasure hidden here. I enjoyed the time I spent here once I got settled in on the mission and was able to wade through a lot of what I'd call thrift store type merchandise but I'd also say it would be difficult to put a tag on this place that does justice to the genre here. The owner was busy scurrying around organizing and adding new items to the inventory but she (Nancy) took a few minutes to chat. She is a wonderful kind person the type of person that fits this business well. Although I didn't find anything I had to have today I definitely would return when in the area...

I really cant speak on the staff, because to be honest i do not remember if were were spoken to or not, i know there was a lady there, but i had no need for conversation. We will go back again

I walked in this "Antique Mall" from the upper level, it's a little smaller than the basement level…read moreit also seems the items upstairs is of higher quality. The staff was loading furniture in the parking lot when we entered the shop and I think we were half through the lower level before we met the nice lady sitting at the register. This place is huge and filled with everything under the sun - the downside to that is there is no standard here the owners it seems will allow just about anything in the booths - I actually found a fairly new "Instant Pot" with no box priced at $72, now for me that makes this antique store a little more of a thrift store and is a total turn-off. I'm not saying there aren't any treasures here I'm just stating the merchandise is all over the place. There's a lot to see here but the quality downstairs is all over the place. I tend to lose interest when a shop get too garage saleeeeee. The staff was friendly and the prices seemed to be inline with the condition and quality I'd definitely return for a quick walk through but not my favorite in Dillard by any means...

About as good an antiques mall as I've seen in quite a while. So many booths with interesting…read morestuff. Being an engineer, I was particularly impressed with the collections of old tools and instruments - including a lot of old electric/electronic devices - I found on the top floor. Some on the bottom floor, too. The whole place has good stuff. Cheap? No, not really. But a lot of the prices were near what I'd being willing to pay if I were more in a buying mood. Still, we did buy a couple of items. Do stop in if you're in town. Recommended.

Not much has changed on the outside but what used to be department stores are now being repurposed and that's Bryant's Antique Mall has done. Three floors of, well, a little bit of everything. Nice antiques, nostalgia from all eras, lots of glassware, some cool furniture, old farm equipment, books, old cameras, just a nice blend. Pricing is set by the individuals who rent the booths so you might find the same thing in several booths at different prices so it pays to look around. All 3 floors are full and nicely arranged with plenty of room to walk around in so plan to be there for while if you want to see everything. The upstairs even has a discount area with all items marked down. It's a really cool building but no public restrooms so if go you might want to stop by the Public Restrooms which are only about a 2 minute walk from Bryant's. They have a sign when you walk in the door with directions. There were 2 gentlemen there on my last visit that were helpful and will answer your questions and help you load larger items you purpose. It's a very cool store so check it out!

After six or so visits to this place with consistent results, I've decided the following two…read morethings: 1) it's got phenomenal inventory, which moves fast so buy it if you like it. Hence, the two stars. But 2) be prepared to be treated like you smell bad, or are bad, or are just generally in the staff's way. (Not all of them, but def the majority) Hence, only two stars. It's such a shame. I literally steel myself for the openly crap attitude I always, always receive. I've bought something every single time I go in, so it's not like there's any reason at all for me to have to field this. I wear deodorant and normal clothing, I have no small children in tow, no dog in arms, nothing. It's inexplicable, but I could set my watch by it. If you'd like to find some pretty, often unusual, (though admittedly sometimes overpriced) things, go here! Just make sure you get something cool enough to wash the taste of the customer service interactions away when you look at it later -- because when you leave you're likely to feel like you just drove through Taco Bell on Poplar in Memphis at 2 am. Pretty sure that's where they found their customer service manual. If you make it past the front desk without turning into a shriveled block of ice, don't miss the fabulous large COVET booth just inside the first display area. That booth in particular has amazing finds at fair prices.
