I would have rated the store a "4" star but Snowshoe's management can't seem to get its mind settled about the place's stock and as a result, the customer is totally confused from one season to the next. For example, last year they awarded exclusivity to Head Skis. Neither myself nor my family is interested in Heads, so the Red Barn got our money. They also used to have an expert ski boot fitter who then moved to Asheville NC. The best times to visit are in Spring and Fall, when discounts of up to 50 percent are designed to clear the shelves.

The shower was hot and the water pressure was great and they provided pleanty of soap and shampoo for two of us. In the morning I went down stairs and had some of the delicious breakfast provided. They had a full kitchen so you could cook anything your heart desires which was nice cause I had been eating fast food all week.
