We were offered lovely wine and nibbles when we arrived and were then treated to an hour of impressive pole tricks, routines and instruction! It was so much fun to try and have a go, and really hard work k too! I'm actually planning to take it up as a fitness regime because its awesome...and you get to wear heels! whoop! I was told that if you're having a hen night you can even book exotic male dancers to come in too (£70) which we didn't get (sob) but would certainly up the ante methinks! Guys are of course welcome to come too! Parties are offered on Fri, Sat and Sun eve, and other days are available if the studio is free! Classes are taught at all levels from beginners to advances, from taster to pussycat doll! They are all priced from £15 per head for a taster, £80 for 8 weeks beginner, intermediate, advanced and the specialist routine classes are £60 for the 8 weeks. Not bad!! A really fun alternative hen night and a great way to get fit too.

However if normal gyms intimidate you, this may be your starting place. It's small and quite and no judgments over your work out. They provide some great classes with positive and helpful teachers. Yoga here is especially excellent. I have been to a few yoga classes in my time and I've learnt more here than anywhere else. Good practical tips and they don't push you belong your limits. The pool is small with no deep end. But its perfect the for a morning swim. Again it's a bit run down, which can be a tad frustrating considering this isn't a cheap gym. The hallway to the pool constantly smells bad. The showers and changing rooms are clean, but old. Most keys have lost the scrappy bit for your arm so bring a pin as well as your pound to pay for them. Personally I am willing to put up with all the negatives as this gym as what's most important to me, a pool I can do lengths in with no interruption and no que for machines!

It is more expensive than your usual gym and you can't just rock up when you want. You can only go to classes. Which can be signed up for using the app. You can also see what the work out of the day is on the app. The facility is simple and clean. There is one shower in each changing room. They guys know their stuff here. And give you helpful tips to improve your performance. There are also special classes that you can sign up to from time to time. Such as pull up progression. Costs £70 to go 3 times a week. £90 for unlimited I think. Each class has max 15 people. There are plenty of classes during the day to choose from.

The gym is in the Dungannon Rugby Club Stevenson Park complex so its fairly no frills but where it really counts it has all you could need. The main space is fantastic with high ceilings and an array of equipment. There's also a spin studio with regular classes and a large studio upstairs for classes and circuits. The team of trainers also make use of the pitch and outside areas to really make you suffer!! Speaking of the trainers, they are a friendly and approachable bunch and seem to achieve serious results quickly with really positive encouragement - I've seen a big difference myself after only 2 weeks. The gym also has a very even membership of men and women which adds to the welcoming and unintimidating feel. Great place!

Recently joined this gym due to its location to my house, not the biggest or best kitted out gym…read morebut has all the essentials from treadmills to cross trainers, they have 2 studios that have spin classes and a multitude of other classes everyday, they have a good range of preset weights stations and a free weights area, only down side is the Changing rooms and the showers are a bit cramped but for as little as £9 a month can't complain, they also serve coffee and a wide range of juices, shakes and drinks, would recommend to join before the end of January for the half price deal!!!

Energie is a fitness centre which uses a circuit which gives you resistance and cardio training targeting all main muscle groups. Each circuit lasts 30 minutes...then you go home! Do this three times a week and in just 6 weeks you'll see positive results. When you join you'll embark on a 6 week programme offering advice on nutrition, positive attitudes to exercise and relaxation etc and they monitor your progress. At the end of my 6 week programme I found I had lost 4.5lbs and 8cms off my waist!! I love the fact that when I go to exercise I know I'll be home within the hour and I'll have had a great workout!
