This summer I booked my sons 2 year appointment and when I called to say I was outside, they said they didn't have me, when I spoke to Annmarie she was not accommodating at all and didn't believe that I booked the appointment. Very displeased. I took my son elsewhere and am very happy now.

After moving away from the area and returning. 4 yrs later, dr Renato had passed away, sadly. We picked up, as patients of Dr Robert Yu & Dr Ann Marie Yu. We seemed to think we would be happy as we were with the father, but realized differently. Both the brother and sister seem to resist any prescription of antibiotics to the point where my daughter had a cough, green phlegm, and a persistent high fever off & on for 3 weeks. All the while during these few weeks of illness, they both diagnosed & insisted on allergies: which we took claritan & benadryl. The high fever waived down and spiked back up. Then they diagnosed & insisted it was asthma/reactive airway. My daughter went through allergy testing at north shore lij and asthma testing. Results were no allergies except for trees. I asked the allergist is a high fever& green phlegm normal symptom of allergies, she said no. (dr. Tsaikalris) when tested for asthma, she was borderline asthmatic, but not really enough to call asthma. My son was tested for asthma when he was coughing fits and high fever. No asthma was found. In the end of the 3 week illness, Antibiotics were prescribed. After all the test results, when both children were sick again, and sick nearly every month, for my daughter with same symptoms, my husband & I expressed strongly that we were concerned about pneumonia. My daughter has it once when she was 4. With the past history and our concerns, and not being able to hear anything in her chest, dr rental Yu prescribed singular (oral tablet), xopenox(inhaler) veramyst(nose spray), and patanol(eye drops). He prescribed these 4 medications for my son too,who had no allergies or asthma whatsoever. The sheer stubborn refusal (upon concern & actual request) to prescribe antibiotics when my daughter had high fevers for weeks off & on accompanied with colored phlegmy cough, was bad & irresponsible medical practice and we had no chose but to switch doctors Within 6 months of switching doctors, my children have not been as sick, could be due to switching schools also. But when my daughter got sick again with same symptoms, antibiotics were prescribed even though the doctor at premiere care could not hear anything in her lungs, but the fever came back a week later, just like in past when we were under dr. Robert Yus care. 2nd visit to different doctor at premiere care couldn't hear anything in chest either, but recommended an xray and it showed she had pneumonia. The high fever wouldn't go away so we went back to our 'new' pediatrician and he diagnosed Walking Pneumonia. It's very likely my daughter had Walking Pneumonia during the year. It explains the persistent fever and constant cough, and how the 4 allergy medicines (inhaler, tablet, nose spray & eye drops) only worked temporarily and then the symptoms came back. Anyhow. I feel I need to make this known to people bc the risk of walking pneumonia or any lung infection or bronchial infection should not be overlooked as Reactive Airway or asthma or allergies Any doctor can confirm that a high fever is a symptom of an infection. And accompanied with colored phlegm, I must say I am shocked Dr Robert & AnnMarie Yu would insist on diagnosing Reactive Airway. Just beware if your children are under their care.

My son had a high fever and I asked them if I can have someone ibuprofen for him while waiting to see the doctor and they refused and started to make comments why I didn't give him at home or I can just go to target and buy it. The lady at the front desk was making racist comments on the phone with the nurses inside about me. "There is a white Kerin here" when I was just a concerned mother that came straight from work to bring my child to the doctor. The doctor decided to take a break right at the time that we checked in so I had to wait 30 minutes with my son shivering. I should have just gone to the ER. Terrible experience and I don't recommend this place.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my daughter(14months) and I were treated during our visit…read more I came in because my daughter was clearly sick coughing, warm to the touch, and visibly unwell yet instead of receiving help, I was met with disrespect, dismissal, and unnecessary hostility. From the moment I arrived, it felt like I was being judged simply because I look young. The doctor, the registration lady, and two other staff members all acted as if I didn't know my own child or what I was talking about. It became four against one, and instead of listening to a concerned mother, they treated me like I was the problem. What makes this even worse is that one of the Black staff members who later tried to calm me down admitted out loud that she could feel how warm my daughter was and could hear her cough. She literally said she felt her body temperature and felt her cough -- meaning she knew my daughter was sick. Yet she still stood there defending the doctor instead of speaking up or making sure my daughter was checked right away. Because of their lack of urgency, I had to raise my voice and cause a scene just to get attention -- something no parent should ever have to do when their child is sick. And the worst part? When we finally went to CityMD afterward, my daughter had a temperature of 104° and tested positive for COVID. So not only was she sick -- she was extremely sick, and they ignored every sign. Instead of support, I was made to feel delusional, dramatic, and "crazy," when all I was doing was advocating for my child. If that staff member could feel my daughter's temperature and hear her cough, then she knew something was wrong. She could have spoken up long before things escalated. No mother should be treated this way. No child should be ignored like that. I came for help, not judgment. I left feeling disrespected, unheard, and completely let down by people who are supposed to care. Of If I rate it off the stars it will be -0

Instead, I decided to follow the advice of a coworker who suggested that we find a pediatrician within a few blocks of our house in case of emergency. Anyways, I found Dr. Tatyana's office online and met the receptionists before we had the baby. They told us to come back after she was born. Although we had made an appointment with Dr. Tatyana for a few days after returning from the hospital, the hospital nurses freaked out when they discovered that the baby had lost a little weight after birth. They basically demanded that we see their in-network doctor as soon as we got home. Although the in-network doctor was kind, it was a pain to strap our crying newborn into a car seat and to shell out $20 each way. When we finally made it to Dr. Tatyana, she assured us that an initial weight loss is normal for breastfed babies, and that the baby had actually regained her lost weight in the span of those few days. The doctor was encouraging at my decision to exclusively breastfeed our baby. Her reassurances calmed my nerves and gave me the confidence to continue what I felt instinctively was right for my baby. Ever since then, we have enjoyed a good relationship with Dr. Tatyana and her staff. Whenever we need a note for daycare or if we have questions about our baby's health, we can speak to the doctor or her staff, who are also knowledgeable about everything baby related. When we come in for our well baby visits, the doctor remembers our baby and keeps up with her progress. I am so happy we found this jewel of a practice. We look forward to a long relationship with Dr. Tatyana and her friendly staff.

His broad knowledge (he is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics) and his laser-focused attention to detail offer me great calm and positivity in my current uncertain medical situation that is absolutely necessary for my eventual (and hopefully full) recovery. There's nothing like a serious illness to cause stress and anxiety in all areas and aspects of one's life, and Dr. Richter's reassuring advice, great sense of humor and sage instruction has eased that anxiety and provided a stable foundation on which to begin my journey to wellness. I came to Dr. Richter on the advice of a friend just over a year ago when I left my doctor in Manhattan who had far too many patients in his large group practice to notice that I was actually far more ill than he had diagnosed. Dr. Richter, a rare solo practitioner in Rego Park, recommended a battery of tests that my other doctor had not, and unfortunately, the diagnosis was bladder cancer. Thankfully, and solely due to Dr. Richter's insistence, care and genuine concern for my health, we caught it early and are currently working to resolve the issue in a few different ways. Thank God for doctors like Dr. Richter! There simply are not enough of them, and it will be a very sad day for the people of this city if Dr. Richter ever decides to retire. His assistant Bridget is also very friendly, caring and extremely knowledgeable, and the rest of his staff and interns are also very helpful and supportive. The man literally helped me dodge a bullet, and there aren't enough words to express my gratitude and appreciation. Dr. Richter is a brilliant doctor and a warm, funny and compassionate human being who really does care. Need I say more?

To disput this bill is hard. The phone number on the bill is connecting to Optum billing department. They asked me to call Dr's office or my insurance company. The lady Mrs. Kin(or Kim) in charge of bill from the Dr's office didn't answer my question. She asked me to have my insurance company to do a 3 ways call with her.
