Since they are designed for running it was important that they fit correctly but unfortunately they kept sliding off my face. Over the course of one week my wife emailed them several times asking to see if we could return the glasses (we'd even pay for the shipping) but we didn't even get a reply. The selection at Leidmann is great. However as a customer, it feels like they don't necessarily care about my satisfaction and customer experience and care more about making money. If you're based in the US I'd recommend staying away from them.

Staff are very helpful and I was tested straightaway. The woman who did the testing was very patient even though her English was not great and showed me around all the choices of frames and had very honest opinion on how things looked when I tried them on. I like that in anyone working in a shop. She also had a strong opinion on the lens I should get and with confidence only showed me the one she wanted me to get. What can I say ? I am a sucker for strong opinions and particularly if it happens to be a German woman...lol I chose a company that is based in Berlin called Mykita and make hand crafted stainless steel frames. Their stuff is fantastic :-) This place is not cheap but the stuff they have is top class.

What to do ? We stopped into this store in the heart of the plaza in Munich and quickly became friends with the most delightful And skilled gentleman named Lukas. He repaired all 3 glasses in minutes ; while waiting we found a large assortment of very stylish frames and ended up purchasing one we had not seen in the states ; we were told it was a limited edition . Lukas is a class act And I wish we could take him back to the US .Words can not express how much we enjoyed not only his skill but his most pleasant attitude and his conversation. Having just left Whisk(e)y Shop Tara, I pulled out my phone to check Yelp for an eyewear shop when I realized I was standing in front of one. On a lark, I walked in and showed the gentleman behind the counter the problem, which he then answered with a concerned look. Biding me to wait a moment, he walked into the back and quickly re-emerged with not only 1 spare part but another "just in case you have problems on the rest of your trip". I nearly swooned out of happiness, and left happy to be able to see again! Eyesee has a great selection of high-end frames, but more than that has caring customer service. I'm very happy to have found them, and if you're in München either for a short trip or as a resident, you should look to them for your eyewear needs.
