They were very patient and I felt that they gave me all their attention. I was able to take my time choosing glasses that I liked. Once I had chosen a pair, they ordered them for me. I had to pay 1/3 of the cost before I left & then once my glasses arrived at the opticians I got to pay the rest. The glasses arrived within a few days of ordering, which was a lot faster than I expected them to be. The glasses fit great and I would go back to Matt Optik again. Great service

They do have a repair service and a wide selection of frames. Their service is usually pretty quick and the prices are reasonable. This is my choice for reasonably priced glasses in Munich.

My first try was a big shop near Marienplatz, but it did not workout. Then, I decided to look for something near my office, and I found this wonderful small shop. Knoop is the last name of the owner. Of course, he was the one who helped me find the right contact lenses. First he analyzed my current glasses and then he presented me some options he thought would suit me. After I told him what my preferences were, he made sure that I felt comfortable using this particular kind of contacts we had chosen. All that was left to do was to try a test pair, which I did right there and then. Suddenly, I was seeing great and now without my glasses! In the end he taught me how to clean and preserve these monthly contacts I bought. Then, I also made an order for 6 pairs, which I picked up the following week. This was one of those super friendly wonderful shopping experiences, because one can see that the owner really loves his trade.
