Their rate of providing printed CD was faster than all other radiology locations. They print it right away on the spot instead of hours later. They also mention the issue because they know it's important to follow up right away, whereas other clinics ask you to wait for the report to be done in whatever time from they conclude. Furthermore, even though they say report takes 2 days, the doctor actually already received the completed report in less than an hour. I recommend going early at opening hours for less longer line.

Arrived at 8:30 AM on a weekday and there were about 5 people in the first waiting room. Checking in as a first time patient took a little longer than anticipated, but that may have been due to the fact that I didn't have my referral in paper form. Be sure to bring your referral in hard copy! After check in I was directed to a second waiting room which to my surprise had about 8 or so more people waiting. I had been told the wait would be 10-15 minutes so after about 20 minutes I spoke to the front desk because I cannot sit or stand for too long (hence the need for x rays.) I was quite close to leaving from the pain but they assured me I was next in line and immediately called into a room. The technician was considerate of my condition and tried to be as fast as possible. From arrival to end the whole visit took about an hour which was longer than I was hoping for but not unexpected. By the time I left at 9:40 the wait room was packed! Recommend going at opening on a weekday to minimize the wait.

I used the restroom on my way out and was chased as I was leaving by the frantic technician that did my exam. They didn't check the date of my last menstruation until AFTER they did my mammogram. She wanted me to sign a paper stating I am not pregnant. I'm not, and I signed the paper, but that was a huge mistake on their part. If I had been pregnant and they did not check the date they could have exposed a fetus to radiation. It was careless, but thankfully no one was harmed. They need to be more careful with their protocols moving forward.

Other radiology centers that we have since used have not charged so excessively.

I arrive at my appointment 25 minutes early per their request, and was made to wait for 15 minutes. Then the woman doesn't believe me when I tell her I made the appointment for my right leg, not my left, and has to call the urgent care center to get confirmation. THEN, she tells me I can either pay right now, cash or card, and hope for a refund (from my insurance, she said. pretty sure that is not how it works.) or I can reschedule for TWO weeks away from now. I pushed back and the woman had the audacity to tell me that even though I "arrived on time" today, it's too late to call them now, and that I need to arrive 20 minutes early to my next appointment so they have time to call the insurance then. For some reason I'm unable to make an appointment at any of those two Labcorp locations in Long Island City, so I chose this location in East Elmhurst/Jackson Heights instead. Everything can be done online as long as your prescription is sent to them. The appointment process is done through their website and was simple. This Labcorp is on the second floor in PetCo Plaza and is also wheelchair accessible with an elevator. You may need to wait a little longer since they seem understaffed. The check-in is also done though their kiosk. The place looks clean to me. I was in an out within minutes. The Asian lady who drew my blood was courteous.
