Another authentic Punjabi food in town. Excellent service and good street food ambience. All five stars goes to Samosa itself, which has fresh peas and potato. Mostly samosas containing frozen peas. We have ordered Aloo Parathas, Samosas, Shahi Paneer and Yellow Daal with Rotis and Tea. Very authentic food, will try again, if we drive down there.

A new Indian food stand in place of the dhaba that was here before. No menu or hours posted. English was not really an option so it was sign language and pointing. Ordered two roti, and she showed me the two pots of what they had, a mixed vegetable dish and a lentil dish, showed me two sizes of containers, I pointed and it worked. Roti was fresh and the veg dish was tasty, she gave me a yogurt type item which paired well and took the spicy edge off. It appears they are new so I will give them a break, show them some love, be a good sport and give them 4 stars. The picnic tables are still here. A small veggie dish, 2 rotis, the yogurt side and a cold 7Up costs $12.00. I have very little experience with Indian food so I can't benchmark it, but I would eat he again. I wish these ladies luck and success.

If you want an authentic Dhaba experience, you've found the right place. The food is fresh, rich, and flavorful. The owners/cooks take great pride in their craft. My Punjabi parents signed off on this place, so you know it's the real deal. Be adventurous! Check it out!

Delicious food, very expensive. They charge different prices for Indian speaking and non speaking customers.

Perfectly delicious food in the town, Whole team is friendly. Also you can get the items on demand, since they cook in front of you.

THE BEST tacos in Bakersfield. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Every meat, every menu item,…read moreeven the agua frescas, all top tier. They load you up with meat that are all cleverly seasoned and prepared. Asada has smokey taste to it that I think some places lack. Pastor has the perfect blend of sweet and spicy . Buche is savory and doesn't feel like you're even eating offal. Everything is loaded up! The loaded potato has about a 1/2" lb of meat or more. The quesadillas are plump! Meat almost falls out. Sauces and other accompaniments are self serve and you can get as much as you want. Their chipotle salsa is spicy but damn is it good. They even have spicy onions that I never see. While you wait for your meal and watch the taquero at work, they have beans, tostadas, nopal, grilled onions and jalapenos all just sitting there FOR FREE. They also have some tiny potatoes soaking in the meat juices if you're lucky enough that they haven't run out (also for free!). The experience is just so customer forward and this is a gem that I hope expands even more. They have deals every week from buy one get one tortas, $1 tacos at a certain day at each location. It's often they have a line so consider yourself blessed if there isn't.

When I finally…read moreordered, the employee handed me number 26 even though the customer before me had number 30. I sat there waiting forever for my number to be called, but it never was. Eventually, she asked me about order 31 and repeated the tacos that were in it. I told her those weren't mine because that's not what I thought I ordered, so she offered to remake the food. I then waited another 20 minutes for the remake. When she finally handed me the order, my drink was missing even though I paid for one. She went back to check the ticket and realized she had grabbed the wrong order entirely. At that point, somehow the original order 31 that had been sitting on the counter the whole time magically turned out to actually be my order after all. So my food had apparently been sitting there getting cold while I waited another 20 minutes for a remake that shouldn't have even happened. The entire situation was disorganized, confusing, and handled very poorly.

We ordered the Bakersfield Picante noodles and the Hibachi Shrimp. Now some of the reviews on here are claiming small portion size. Well let me set that record straight. The bag was so heavy I almost dropped them when he handed it to me. Now to the food. I'm going to start with the rice and move my was up. First. Wow. It's really nice to have someone who really knows how to make fried rice. Moist without being greasy flavorful and plentiful! Next came the veggies, a great mix of carrots, zucchini , bell Peppers and onions. Cooked and crisp at the same time. Perfectly seasoned and not mushy. I was impressed.... Moving up the ladder of delish I had the picante noodles... and I must say.. simply amazing. Soft to the bite and perfectly chewy. Covered in a picante sauce ( hence the name) that was just short of sublime. Now. The star of the show. The shrimp and scallops. Cooked to perfection and PLENTIFUL! there was as much protein as there was veggies...It was amazing. We had the Hibachi shrimp as well... everything I just said about the Picante noodles... goes for the Hibachi. ( saving you a little time here) So if you are looking for fantastic food, and want to support a VETERAN OWNED LOCAL BUSINESS! This is the place. Great food. Great service. Get down here already! P.S. I didn't take pictures of the food because I was Hungary. Next time!!!!
