He also let her know he had other patients waiting and basically told her to suck it up. Our appointment was at 11:10, she wasn't seen before 11:30 so she wasn't the reason he was backed up. So we leave, she's in tears...we get home and find he hasn't sanded it evenly with the tooth beside it (front tooth repair for the 3rd time) nor has he smoothed the back at all. The care was terrible, procedure "completed" but not done well, and he was already behind when we arrived. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy.

Then my daughter is told she has her first ever set of cavities (4 total is what I was told, 1 being a baby root canal). We were told we needed to be seen at the Carlisle location due to her age and needing nitrous. No problem, appointment was made. At the first appointment, she was evaluated and they told me it was actually 8 cavities since "they were in-between teeth and touching", it would be 4 appointments total to fill them all as they will do 2 per visit.. So okay, I can understand that mix up, They fill the first 2 teeth, I pay and we leave. Appointment 2- scheduled for another 2 filings. While receiving nitrous through a tube around her nose; Dr.Tati covered my daughters mouth with her hand saying "breeth through your nose"..... I was in shock she did such a thing, as she is only 6 years old and can understand directions. She's lucky I didn't snap then tbh. We get her callvities filled, we pay and leave Appointment 3- teeth get filled, we pay and leave Appointment 4- last tooth is ready to be filled (the supposed baby root canal) and I was quoted over 600 dollars prior to the appointment for the procedure. Naturally, a single mother like myself cannot simply afford to pay $600 for a baby tooth to get a root canal, so I start asking what the other options are. This is when the dental higentist says she is not scheduled to have that tooth filled and they are filling 2 on the other side of the mouth.... "okay .. now wait a second.., she just had those 2 teeth filled last time, this is our last appointment and the last tooth that needs done is the supposed root canal" Dr tati comes in and takes a look. "Oh yes those teeth have been filled already. We only need to do this one and then she's done" ...."I know this, I just told you that. But I'm not paying for a root canal so what are my other options?" Tati takes a look and says "oh no this doesn't need a root canal, we can just fill it.". Lmaoo okay,,, so why was I quoted and told she needed a root canal in the first place? Despite the shit show, her last tooth is filled, we pay and leave. A couple of weeks later, I receive a bill saying I owe precious smiles $132... Hmm weird because I paid before leaving each time. I'll call and see what they say, maybe something was missed. Calls, insurance says previous lady screwed up and didn't mark my account as paid even though it shows the payment method and amount charged. She fixes account as paid and all is well.... Until I check into my EOBs from insurance. EVERY visit at the Carlisle location with Dr. Tati, I was over-charged at least $60. Total of $249 I OVERPAID this company. Understanding that these things do happen, I call precious smiles and explain to their insurance women what's happening and she takes a look herself as well. She calls me back and confirms the amount of $249 and some change was overpaid. She assures me she will talk with Dr tati about processing a refund, and will get back to me. Never calls Never gets back to me Everytime I call, I'm told it's gonna take time I'm told to wait I'm told that there's nothing I can do I'm told to wait on them to call Y'all this was in AUGUST! The 25th to be exact and.. I STILL HAVNT GOTTEN MY REFUND! I called last week and they told me TO WAIT, AGAIN.. It's crazy how I overpaid and yet my money was available to them immediately, no waiting period. No payment plan, no excuses. But my money,, the money THEY OWE ME,, well that is gonna take time. Well over 2 months apparently.. If y'all would have just been polite, apologetic, and communicative throughout this process, I wouldn't have had to write this. I wouldn't have had to find another provider. It could have all been so easy. But Dr Tati is selfish and ignorant. She enjoys taking advantage of struggling mothers. She doesn't care, as long as her dime turns into a dollar. I wonder how many other folks has this women/company done this to? How many people actually check their EOBs from insurance and understand them to know if they are paying correctly. It's discusting. Your company discusts me, YOU discust me Dr.Tati. Anyways, I'll call again tomorrow! Have the day you deserve! I WANT ME MONEYYY!

Now I had to wear a retainer, which was provided to me. In November 2022 I retired and moved down to Florida. Prior to leaving Dr. Olson and his staff fared me well and gave me molds of my teeth in case I needed to make more retainers or for anything else. With all of the hassles of moving and settling down, I lost my retainers. I looked around at many dental facilities and no one would use the molds and I was quoted $500 to $900 for new plastic retainers. My expenses had been stretched and I found it to expensive. A week went by and I could feel my teeth moving out of place. So I reached out to Dr. Olson and his staff for help. They stated that they still had me on file and could have a new set shipped overnight. And for a very reasonable price. Wouldn't you know that literally a day and a half later I had new retainers. I kid you not, if I was a millionaire I would offer to move Dr. Olson's entire practice and house all his great staff to wherever I end up. It's this type of compassionate service to their customers at Olson Orthodontics that makes me wish I had more services like them around me. The doctors and staff are incredibly knowledgeable. Before any actual treatment began the doctors met with me and my daughter to assess what needed to be done. They did not rush us through or push us to make a decision. I truly felt as though the best care for my daughter was their only concern. During her treatment I have never been "left out of the loop" . They explain each procedure, why it's being done and what the result should be. The explanation is also given to my daughter. She is included in her care. I think that's huge. From the moment you enter the office the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. A manic situation in an office can lend itself to increasing the anxiety a patient feels. The office environment at F & S helps to greatly reduce that. The staff is caring, kind and compassionate.
