He told me the surgeon had done a wonderful job (thank goodness!) & I would be going to a rehabilitation facility for a couple of weeks, Home therapy after that & that is what I am still doing. He has seen me each month since the break (May) & always explains everything to me so it is easy to understand. The office staff is very efficient and I usually don't have to wait too long-they don't overbook appointments so you are not sitting there waiting forever-that's a real plus! I hope you never have to go, but if you do, I highly recommend this practice.

Even if the the therapy had not helped me in any other way, just kindness and a positive atmosphere means a lot. It seems like that has been lost, not necessarily by other places I have been, but just a single employee or receptionist with a bad attitude, who doesn't care, can cause ripple effects on people that are hard to see or define. And have many kinds of effects not just on people, staff, and patients, but also the place they work. I called On the Move and Jen, who answered the phone, was really wonderful with getting us an appointment as soon as they could for an evaluation. She also explained that once we got insurance approval, that our appointment that we set up to work with our schedule would be a standing appointment every single week. Meaning that we would not have to set up another appointment every week when we left! This is such a wonderful thing because it saves time for us. Our therapist Kim is wonderful! She is caring and kind with Charlotte and she explains everything we need to know to keep the momentum going when we are at home in between appointments. It is a little out of the way and if you have never been there it can be a little hard to find the first time. My daughter, who is now 10-months old has been going there for a couple of months now and she was not able to sit up by herself, hold her bottle, roll herself over, or do so many other things due to health issues that she has been suffering from since birth. I can now say that she is sitting all by herself without propping herself up, hold her bottles (in fact, she is almost ready for sippy cups) and she is rolling over and moving on her belly. Not yet crawling but getting around none the less. All of this because of the work we have done with Kim at On the Move!
