Apex is cheap. They don't reimburse candidates when they interview somewhere and then have to pay parking fees, etc.

Temporaries Now provides amazing services to both staff and organizations needing them. I began…read moreworking with Temporaries Now back in 1999 when I was finishing up my college degree and seeking opportunities to expand my professional horizons. The interview process with Temporaries Now was, and still is, rigorous. Personality evaluation, and skills testing ensures a comprehensive picture of each candidate and gives the candidate an opportunity to get feedback and an assessment of their interview skills. Once on-board as a "temp" there are a myriad of benefits offered to staff not often found at other firms. These benefits include, but are not limited to, computerized training, insurance options, paid leave, and many opportunities for recognition. The owner, Dale, cares about his staff, and it shows, he is constantly seeking out ways to provide incentives and recognition to his employees. I was ultimately offered a challenging assignment via Temporaries Now with a major IT firm in the local area. This assignment lead to a professional job offer and a career that has now lasted for over 15 years! So, whether you are an organization seeking temporary or permanent staffing or a candidate seeking work opportunities, I would highly recommend checking out Temporaries Now. The quality of this organization and staff are second to none.

The reason this place has so few reviews is they aren't actually interested in getting clients. I…read morefirst spoke to someone on the phone, expecting to make an appointment to discuss my objectives and job search. Instead, I was told to email my resume and career goals, to see if they would be able to help me find work. I figured that made sense because they might only have contacts in specific sectors or deal with certain levels of experience. The man assured me that they could probably still give me career advice, even if they couldn't get me a job. So I sent in my resume along with goals and details about my experience. A few days later I was caught off guard by an automated email telling me that "[my] resume was not selected to be moved forward for this particular position." The email stated that, even though I didn't get the "position," my resume would be stored if another opportunity arose. Pretty confusing since I was seeking career help, not a particular position, and I had followed the employee's instructions for the email to a T. The message was signed "The Staff of Gaskins Search Group." There was nothing about career advice or even the mention of a recruiter. I was really surprised by the lack of professionalism, especially after the person I spoke to made it seem like they were willing to help. My advice is not to waste your time with Temporaries Now. Find a temp agency that actually cares about placing people in jobs.

It has been a while my dear friends but I AM BACK!…read more I often write on the topic of how Customer Service is dead in America. That salespersons (see I am PC) are only interested in feathering their own pockets and care little for what the client really needs. One would think that with the state of the economy that employment firms would be on top of the customer service chain but few are and most are just pumping and dumping an endless row of unfit or under-educated drones. This was my opinion until I came across NRI and more particularly Tracy. NRI actually takes the pulse of their clients and gets them what they want and more importantly what we NEED. I often can say without much hesitation what I want but few people care to peek around the edges to find out what I require. For I am that cheapskate sports car owner; I have the $5 million dollar car but only wants to put regular in the tank. NRI is able to find that I need and want mix them together and BANG - ethanol. I openly recommend them if you need employment services or if you happen to be in between career paths give them a ring. You will not regret it.

I recently applied to a posting advertised in their website and Julie reached out to me. I was excited to speak with her and possibly began working with this joke of a staffing agency. This all went downhill quickly as she began questioning my career choices and offering unsolicited advice. First off, I didn't sign up/ ask for career advice and guidance in making choices about MY life. This place is extremely unprofessional and I'm in complete and utter shock at the way Julie spoke to me. I absolutely would NOT recommend this company to anyone, even if you're desperate. They obviously don't care about helping to find you work. They seem to be more interested in inserting themselves into your personal lives and offering you unsolicited advice about than they are in finding you work. *PS I'd probably ignore all of these 5-star reviews, they're most likely written by one of their RUDE employees *side-eye*

I am a hard worker and have excelled at every other organization where i have been employed. I was basically fired for not producing enough "hours" basically making them enough money BUT was never supported and give clients in a timely manner. They are judging, critical and darn right nasty to the clients (and their employees- my supervisor secretly confessed to me that the owner talked about me and others in a derogatory manner & blamed us for client's outcome in court etc). They expect you to do things that will pay more and get them more business even though it is apparent that is not in the clients best interest. It was the worst year of my life. I cried every day after working here a while & then subsequwntly became unemployed and struggled for a long time until finding a much better and supportive job. DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!! And most of all do not contract them to work with your clients!!!!!

Even staff members who were highly talented and knowledgeable were fired at the drop of a hat at BB. I wasn't fired, but chose to leave because the owner treated me extremely unprofessionally. I have directed counseling programs myself and would never think of treating a co-worker like she treated me.
