Well, they refused to see her even when I said bill medical mutual and we pay the copay. Well still refused to see her. I called The office and the scheduling line said well we check insurances the day before they should have called you and told you we can't see you due to her having Medicaid secondary. I said well someone didn't do their job and never called me Notthing! Wasted my time wasted my gas on driving there. What a joke. So quick to refuse to see me but can't do your job to begin with ?! We won't see you today. I'm truly happy I got another appointment with a different office. Long story short: The doctor wasn't empathetic and was hard to communicate with. I felt like my concerns weren't taken seriously. I actually left my appointment feeling upset and frustrated, which was hard to shake. I was later able to sync up with another doctor outside of this practice who took my concerns seriously and was able to get the open and positive relationship I desired. I didn't have great interactions with the office staff. The whole experience was uncomfortable. I don't dispute that they have probably offered life saving care to patients and maybe just have speciality areas they excel in. As someone new to the dermatology world this was just not the office for me.
