Are you a bargain hunter? I've got the place for you! You…read morecan find a lot of things here on sale. It is a wholesale dealer that sells something that did not sell well in other stores at a nice discount. Some of the items are imperfect products. I love to go in here and walk around for an hour seeing what "treasures" I can find. They have parking lot. One thing to note another reviewer mentioned: The ceilings are leaky. so look up before buying ‍ steer clear of buckets if you can get past these things and have it not bother you in favor of a deal, it's an ok store. It's huge! Some of my best things purchased in here tend to be home decor items personally. They sell 1$ ornaments for the holidays. My favorites are my curtains for my apartment. I also love that they have 5-6$ throw pillows. I constantly come around to replace bathroom rugs and shower curtains and this is the best place to find things that are of good quality on a deal. Think of the things you 100% need but like don't want to spend a fortune on. NWL has your back there. They have a large section of cleaning products which sells things like 5$ Lysol spray and stuff you prob already buy but pay a lot more for. Reminds me of like pergament or even Bobby's. The service is ok you have to be mindful when you are ringing items up that they won't overcharge you - I'm sure they don't intend to but sometimes there are so many items the prices on the tags aren't always updated correctly.

Visited their store on Tuesday 4/16/19, we were able to grab a parking spot right in front ...... don't forget to feed the meter !!! We were greeted by a very polite & professional young man named Joe B. Aka Kfir B. He introduced himself and after I told him what I'm looking for ( three compartment sink ) he brought me over to show me what he had in stock ........ I did my homework & all the research on sizes & prices so it was very easy for me to decide; Normally I buy all my Stanless direct form a Brooklyn manufacturer however I bought a sink from them last year & I really was not impressed with their over all quality ..... Joe agreed and told me that's why he caries sapphire Name brand sinks the quality is much better & I have to agree .... We bought the sink $ 500.00 58''x 24'' with 18''X 18''X 14'' Compartments with drain baskets included ... ( FYI, I will post a picture after the sink is installed) Love a place where they are not pushy and arrogant & really look to help you.... I asked Joe to price out a grease trap which he gladly did for me and I told him I would get back to him ..... Then Joe brought my sink out & helped me load it in my vehicle... I would definitely recommend Coney Island Restaurant Equipment & would buy from them again ..... Thanks Joe it was pleasure doing business with you & your dad ..... Greg D & family

I really want to like this co-op, I truly do! The produce is solid, I appreciate that it stays open…read morelate, and the prices seem competitive. I've previously worked at a food cooperative as a GM and have been a member of various co-ops in California, Utah, Massachusetts, and upstate New York. I love co-ops. Over the past 10 years, I've visited more than 50 of them, and this is the only one where I've genuinely felt unwelcome. Since moving to the area, I've stopped by this location about 10 times. 3/4ths of the time, the checkout experience has been...weird. The clerks rarely greet me or even acknowledge me when I'm checking out. I usually have to initiate a "Hi" or ask, "Are you open?" One time, I stood there for a full minute while the cashier continued chatting with a coworker. It was awkward, and honestly, a little uncomfortable. Another time, a cashier whose line I was in told me another line was open and directed me there, only for that second cashier to tell me she wasn't actually open, and pointed me to a third one. I felt like I was stuck in a weird game of musical chairs, just without the music (or the chairs). If I'm in your line and you're open, just please check out my groceries lol. Of course, no one owes anyone a "hi" or conversation, but I shop at co-ops because, in my experience, there's usually an implicit interest in fostering connection/community among staff. That's always been part of what makes co-ops special to me, and I just haven't felt that here. Maybe I'm just going at the wrong times. I'm all for supporting local and cooperative models, but I'm hoping for a warmer experience elsewhere. I'll be trying out Park Slope next!

I live in Atlanta now, but I have nostalgia for the Ellis Island experience of the Costco in Sunset…read morePark, which was a 15 minute drive from our home in Bay Ridge. Within a month of getting married, we had a Costco card (it's yellowed with age now) I was just grateful there was a Costco: it's a lifesaver with kids, especially when both parents work. I can't even imagine how we would have managed without it. Always purchase at Costco: 1) toilet paper 2) paper towels 3) laundry detergent 4) grocery staples that children go through quickly! 5) COFFEE! 6) LINT rollers!! pillows! towels! storage containers! Also, Costco is one of the few remaining good guys while the rest of corporate America becomes increasingly profit-driven and exploitive of their workers. That counts for a great deal in my book, so I am a ride or die Costco supporter. If you have any awareness of what it is like to live on an hourly wage in this economy (or even if you are lucky enough to not know firsthand, but you care) you can feel good about shopping here. And -- if you can't find something in the shop: GO ONLINE!!! Their service for anything you need is first rate. We buy all our electronics there, prescriptions at Costco, and glasses for us & the kids -- we always check first with them for any big ticket purchase.

Thanks but no thanks ! According to newswire, April 29 2025 the dha Nature Made vitamins marketed to pregnant women contain toxic chemicals. I mean seriously what the heck ? An issue this serious needs to be clarified or pulled from the shelves. Or risk losing customers. I am buying less and less from Costco. Their PR team needs to address this!! Now I am very suspicious of any Costco item I find on sale. Why is it on sale ? Maybe because something is wrong with it.
