I had nothing but roof problems since they did our roof. used too long of roofing nails and not able to get in my attic. rain poured into my attic and I had to figure out the problem. they did not put the flashing back around the chimney. They would not pay for any damages. I thought they were certified for my insurance and did not. They wanted to charge me for the pictures they took. Stay away!! read more

Terrible. so many things were bad I hope I cover them all. To start with, they left materials in our yard for weeks. I had to constantly try to attempt to get ahold of them to come get it. The old gutters were put under our deck. We ended up throwing them away. They didn't replace the gutters, had to call many times for this. THEN THE ROOF LEAKED. THEY BLAMED US until they realized we haven't paid yet. but if my husband didn't know construction they would not have fixed it. My husband had to tell them what was wrong! Then to actually get them out to fix it took forever. During this time they were asking for payment and threatening putting alien on our house. Months later it was fixed but the ceiling inside our house needed paint from the leaks. my husband finally did it! it's been 14 months and they just sent us another bill. Apex Roofing and Restoration has been a nightmare, and their referral of Morgan Law Group has only increased the dissatisfaction with my experience. Apex Roofing & Restoration did not show up for the initial insurance inspection. Many of my calls and emails got no response. Apex Roofing prices were off the chart. Morgan Law Group took 25% of the settlement and denied me a copy of their billing despite our agreement on 10% plus expenses. Apex will take 15% of my settlement. Apex is disingenuous and their adjusted pricing after settlement is downright dishonest from the start. It is my opinion that Apex Roofing are scammers wanting to get their fee without ever repairing your roof. I would not recommend Apex Roofing nor their cohort, Morgan Law Group. read more

Initially all was good. A representative came and inspected my roof, found damage and they helped me initiate the insurance claim. All was approved, signed the contract and put down $2400.00. Approximately a week later I get a call saying they can't do the work for the amount approved by insurance. At this point I needed to look elsewhere. I relayed this to my account representative on Friday , she said ok, just needed approval from a supervisor. Monday was a holiday, I had not heard anything back on Tuesday. When I called I was told my representative was not available, but notes showed they were waiting on supervisor approval. I asked to speak to a supervisor,, my representative ( who I was told wasn't available) got on the phone! She explained that she was just waiting on her supervisor to approve!! After letting her know of my strong dissatisfaction, she assured me she would make it a priority. Late that afternoon, she called me and said the check was approved. That was 9/3,,it's now 9/11 and still no check!!! I STRONGLY advise anyone to consider this before they commit to APEX! read more

I have had a terrible experience with APEX and will never recommend it to any of my friends or family. I have been patiently waiting on APEX for over a year now to have my roof replaced, and have gotten nowhere. It has gotten so bad, that I feel the need to write my first review ever and warn others about what really goes on with this company. In December of 2020, they sent a random representative knocking on my door saying they could process my roof through my insurance. I was already planning on replacing my roof in the upcoming months, so I went ahead with the process. It is now February 2022, I have been suffering with a leaking roof for the last 9 months. When this initially happened I called APEX and they sent someone out to put a tarp on the roof for $1600. They did a terrible installation job, in less than 30 days half of it was flapping around in the air and I was back to water leaking in my house. I constantly reached out for them for over a month with no one getting back to me. After 2 months a lawyer was able to get ahold of them. APEX came out again, re-tarped the roof, and charged my account $3000. Double the original price to come out and fix the bad job they did in the first place. I tried reaching out to them for a few more months to get an update on my case and they were no help at all. Their exact words was "We have not been able to get ahold of your the lawyer we assigned to your case, so you just have to wait for now, we will let you know when we hear something". I received that same back and fourth for the last 10 months. In December 2021, I complained to them about the about how my living conditions are affected, the interior areas that suffered from the leaking roof has started to rot and form bits of mold. APEX sent their people to my house a few weeks later (the beginning of January 2022), they did absolutely nothing, they walked around on the roof, took pictures of the existing tarp they placed their a few months back, and charged my account another $3000. I had enough, I told them I wanted out and in return they told me I have a balance of $8000 on the account that needs to be paid off. They are a terrible, greedy company, that has no regards' for the customer. They are trying to get $37,000 from my insurance company, for a roof that 3 other contractors quoted $15,000. Their customer service is terrible, their workmanship is terrible, and they have put me through hell for the last year plus. I will never recommend them to anyone, and highly encourage people to consider this review when they contact you for your business. read more

Sales person used the words "at no expense to you". I confirmed this multiple times before engaging with Apex. The sales person knocked on my door. I wasn't interested at first. What caught my attention was the fact that they had a legal team working for getting peoples roofs replaced and that they could get my roof replaced with no out of pocket expense to me. I signed all of the paperwork and worked with them to get my insurance claim done. A few weeks go buy and a guy shows up to help me pick out my shingles. This is when i find out that I will have to pay $2500. Please be aware! When the sales person uses the words "at no expense to you", it is a lie and a scam. read more

My sister is fighting with APEX. They took her insurance check to keep it on file until the work was completed. They cashed the check without any signatures on it and have not done ANY work in the month after taking the job. 5 missed appointments and now they want to send her a partial refund and make her keep the over priced materials they had dropped off! I think not. Come get your stuff out of the yard and refund the entire check amount. Three issues here: Taking more work than you can complete. Cashing a check you had no LEGAL right to. Trying to make people pay marked up prices for materials you dropped off and never got around to using. read more

If I could post a zero star rating I would. After 6 weeks the never even applied for a permit nor did the order the roof shingles. I followed up with them ever other week to find out when they would move forward and got nowhere. When I did speak with someone he had nothing but excuses and did had zero accountability for doing absolutely nothing in 6 weeks. I was clearly upset about it and I was told I was rude like I was supposed to be pleasant about the fact that the did nothing but take my check for 6 weeks. Then I was told I was stopping them from doing their job. I signed the contract and paid and they did nothing but give me excuses. After speaking to the manager with the big bag of excuses I ask to speak to his boss and he said it was only the owner on top of him and I said I would like to speak with him. Never got a call from him on an email say I have been refunded but I have yet to see a check from them. I could have hire someone else and had a new roof completed by now but they totally have sandbagged me. You should hire someone else these people have zero integrity, and refuse to be accountable for their actions or lack there of. read more

Absolutely the WORST roofing company to try and do business with! The contractor took my money for "fixing" the problem and said that if the problem continues to just call them to get back out there. Well the problem came back with the very next heavy rain! I called and called and left messages upon messages, both with the answering machine AND with live people, who would always say they will call me back. No call back. No responses in any shape or form. They basically took my money and now I'm out $250 and left with the same issue for which I called them out in the first place. TERRIBLE COMPANY!! read more

I only gave them one star because I had to. I wouldn't even give them that! My roof replacement began August 8th, when I got home, the wooden fence was broken off. Josh said it broke when he tried to open it....... On August 9th, I came home to water everywhere and realized it was from the roof. I called and Josh came out to look at the water and apparently they knew water had gotten in the home since one part of the roof was not covered during a rain event that day. No one called me, I just walked in to the situation after work. Josh came out that night and looked at the damage in the attic and in the home. He assured me that he would have Servpro or someone out the next day. That did not happen, the roofers had a carpet cleaner to get the water out of the carpet but that was it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed he would send them out but after calling on August 14th, he sent DKI out the next day. They dried out the attic and made sure there was no sign of mold. The roofers used my items in the yard (water hose, patio furniture, planter, etc). to hold their items down, take breaks, and what ever but did not return them to their original state and blocked my back door with their equipment. The roofers rang my doorbell at 6:15 Sunday morning because they needed to use my pliers for their compressor! I put my toolbox out for them and later found it dumped out and not put back! The roofer let me know on August 14th that the roof was complete. August 15th, the roofers came to get their dumpster from my driveway but left their pallets, boxes of nails, and other supplies in my driveway. I moved the items so I could get in my garage. Their were nails and shingles everywhere in my yard. I was unable to get in touch with Josh. August 17th, Chris from Apex called because Josh was unavailable. I explained the debris (nails and shingles) was not cleaned up and he thought it was done. He assured me if he had to do it himself that he would be out in the next couple of days. That never happened. To make a long story short, it is now September 13th (36 days later) and the nails and shingles are STILL scattered, the shingles on the roof were just thrown on there, the satellite was supposed to be removed, the gate was to be fixed, and each time there is correspondence, they say they thought it was taken care of!!! I would not recommend Apex roofing to anyone. I realize mistakes happen but the follow up and customer service is TERRIBLE!!!!! I hope this is seen by the right person at the company so maybe someone will come complete the job they were hired to do!!! This is unacceptable for any company! read more
