First, they aren't adequately staffed, so I had to wait several days past the scheduled date for them to show up. But the real problem is that the detergent was horribly strong-smelling and they did not rinse it off before they left. After the team left, the house was dripping wet, and the drops coming off the house were bleaching our shirts. There was a horrible residue left on the whole house, and the windows were streaked and spotted. I reached out and asked them to come back and fix the problem it. Which they did 10+ days later, and it did little good because the detergent was caked in and the windows were incredibly spotted and streaked. The house is actually WORSE as a result of their services. They are just as expensive (if not more) than other services, yet I found myself outside getting on a ladder to clean my siding and windows after I paid them $1000 to clean it? I am particularly annoyed because I gave them an opportunity to fix what they ruined. DON'T DO IT.

"Wow, I am SO happy that I chose Teflon Roofing to replace my entire roof a few weeks ago right before all these storms started" I think about the fact that my roof was 25 years old, and really showing it's age. I recall the damaged and missing shingles from the strong wind storms in the early spring. I think about the awful experience I had with getting estimates for a new roof a couple of years ago, and the astronomical price they quoted. Then I think again about my friend who said "Call Teflon Roofing!" I am so happy that I did. Jason, the owner, came out exactly on time, without having to wait days or weeks for an appointment. Immediately, I could tell that he knows exactly what he's doing, and that he's a very down to earth, honest person. He explained everything. He took videos and pictures. He helped me get through the insurance process. The price was reasonable. What the insurance company and industry standards say it should be, not some inflated money grab like some companies. On installation day, Jason dropped off the trailer early, and Andy (a great supervisor!) and his team showed up on time, and got to work... and quickly! My old roof was removed, new EVERYTHING, and meticulously cleaned up by 2pm. I received pictures and videos updating me of entire project as they went along. I was amazed. From start to finish, the professionalism of Jason, Andy, and the Teflon Roofing team showed through. The designer at the first company was rude and didn't care about my time as she missed appointments and then laughed about it. She also did not care about what I wanted in my own kitchen and she thought the decisions where hers alone to make. The second company wanted me to sign a contract before he gave me any estimate. Throughout the design process he would tell me that I needed to sign the contract that said I would only use his company but the price of the project would be given to me after the kitchen remodel was completely finished. There were many other issues and I don't have enough time to write them all. Thank God I called Gettysburg Construction!!! I spoke to Dave who is the owner. Called around a few local companies and didn't like the vibes I was getting from the people I was talking to. Tenderloving Carpet Care was last on my list to call and boy am I glad I did. Initially, I was impressed with the before and after photos on their website of the carpets they'd cleaned and their reviews seemed very good as well. I spoke to a woman named Adrienne who runs the company alongside her husband and two sons. She was very friendly and the quote she gave me was extremely reasonable, plus they could come out in just a few days after me calling. It's a family run business so she let me know over the phone that she would be coming with her two sons. I appreciated her telling me this ahead of time so I knew in advance how many people would be coming inside my home. On the day of service they arrived within their stated time and Adrienne and her boys got to work inspecting the carpet. As we walked around they were very respectful of our home and mindful of the other furniture pieces in the rooms. They walked around with me to see the problem areas in the carpet and even though they couldn't guarantee all would be removed by the time they were finished all of the stains were gone. Yippee!!! We were so pleased because we thought we had ruined our carpet. In total, they did the master bedroom, the hallway, the spare bedroom and an upholstered armchair in our living room. My husband had even spilled a mystery substance on the arm of the chair that they were able to get out no problem. Another bonus. Most of our stains were a year old, including a red wine stain I had made. While freshening up a carpet is a perk I think most people are like me and are hoping to get tough stains out. So this was such a win for us!! The breakers did get tripped a few times during the cleaning so keep that in mind; if you can avoid overloading a circuit I would just tell Adrienne which outlets to avoid when she arrives. Silly me...I didn't think about that beforehand but now I know which ones to have them use in the future. The cleaning took about 2 hours in total, maybe 1.5 hours. Can't remember, but we ended up chatting after they were done like two old friends. Adrienne is very friendly and her sons are bright, hardworking guys who care just as much about the company as their parents. If we had just a bit more money in our budget I would have loved for them to have cleaned our two white sofas and six white dining chairs as well since they do clean upholstered furniture. Our carpet looks and feels brand new like when we first moved into the home . If you find a good company who does a great job and who is affordable then why bother looking around? I know we will be using them for years to come and I hope your experience turns out as well as ours did.
