That is NOT how Justin and Brandy operate. You can tell they put thought and attention into each aspect of the yard, from mowing, to edging, to weeding, and the plant placement and control. The edges are always super clean, and the mow length is always proper and cut with sharp blades. And most importantly, they are good people who I can trust. Got a reply on Friday telling me that they would be here on Friday. Didn't know if it would be morning or afternoon, and then I was very rudely informed that they had 280 clients and 3 machines, and that they weren't going to mow 10 yd a day. As if this had anything to do with anything, I guess they have either too many clients or they need to buy more machines. I don't know. So I said, I wanted to know so that I could be here because I don't allow people on my property when I'm not here generally, whenever I've had that happen, things have disappeared. And they were very animate about the fact that that I did not need to be here that it was fine if I wasn't here to the point that it made me uncomfortable. And and then they said, oh, we'll send you pictures why I would need pictures, I have no idea because I live. Here. So that kind of made me uncomfortable. The fact that they really seemed to wanted me off the property when they were here. Well, of course, Friday comes and goes no one shows app again, no 1 replies on Friday when I text them again, so I find someone to come out Saturday and the only time I even got a reply from them was after I informed. Them not to come out on Saturday as if they were planning to, because I'd already found somebody that would come out and do the job. So the the guy was like, well, we just can't come out. And do you we put you on a route blah blah blah? But at no point in time was any of that explained to me, I wasn't told I was being put on a route, I was told that they would be out Thursday and Friday, I gave them one day's grace because of the rain, they told me that they would be there Friday, but they didn't know what time then they didn't show up. They were very rude. Having just purchased a vacant lot in the city of Edgewood, we wanted to get a head start on…read morepreparing the land for new home design. Although the vacant lot was mostly clear, we had several sizeable decaying laurel oaks, camphors, and tall queen palms to remove still. One of the large laurel oaks had fallen against a beautiful live oak that was *not* to be harmed. Also, the two trees were near power lines as well, making for a tricky removal. I contacted several tree services that had arborists on staff since our city requires a tree removal permit requiring an arbor report. Most of the arborists I met we friendly, but only one was *clearly* outstanding and won our business immediately (we didn't even get all the quotes yet). Sometimes you just have a "gut" feeling that this is the company you want to go with, and Steve Ogden from Central Florida Arborcare was our man. Steve is an incredibly friendly and knowledgable arborist that emanates the feeling of trust. I had read many great reviews about CFA, and they have been around a long time. Now on to the job! Removing trees (properly that is) takes a bit of pre-work as well. Many cities go to great lengths to protect the landscape in their boundaries and rightfully so. CFA made it easy to obtain the proper permits and approval from our city, and this is the advantage of choosing a service that has a full-time arborist aboard as permitting required an arbor report. A week later, the crew arrived fully prepared with all the different trucks and equipment to handle the job correctly. The team was amiable and quickly established the feeling that they were there to do the job requested and process any requests. I made sure not to micro-manager (please, don't do that), and in return, I felt like I was part of the crew. It was a big job, but they handled it perfectly! I'm sure a couple more trees will need to trimmed or removed on once the house plans are complete, and I *WILL* be using them! Lastly, I want to thank ALL the people I got to work with at CFA, including Steve, Sheila, Cassidy, John, Lee, and the rest of the crew that were so busy that I didn't get their names (sorry). Please make sure to call CFA for an estimate. You won't be disappointed!

Imagine yelling at a nearly 70 year old woman over something you deem a "$100 fix." Absolutely ridiculous. And, she still paid you $200 more than the national average for the tree removal.
