We have water finally! The story goes like this. When we first looked at the property, the tank, aka pond, was almost empty. Michael told us they used the water to build the roads in HPR, but not to worry, they were going to sink a well and fill it back up. Great! Closed on the property, asked Michael when they planned on drilling a well he said, "I never said that. " That's a lie! He did say it. He did later send me an email saying he'd pay for the electricity to fill the pond after we got a well. My mistake was trusting him. Mistake number 2-called 6 well diggers for price quotes from them all. Price varied from $19,000 to $30,000 each one had a slightly different list of things they were going to do. Settled on one at $25,000 asked if I needed a deposit or anything, "no, you're on our list but it's a 9 to 12 month waiting list." That was in February of 2022. Sadly I took him at his word. My mistake. Contacted Apex Drilling- why didn't I call them to begin with? Mike came out looked around and said 5 months, we shook hands but... he wanted a deposit. GREAT IDEA. We shook hands 3 months ago. Today they finished the job, 27 gallons a minute. THEY came in well under the estimate. If only ALL businesses were as good as their word.
