"Enter at your own risk (but the results are worth it). "I am pretty sure the trainers here moonlight as medieval executioners. They will find muscles you didn't even know you had and make them burn for days. I could barely walk down the stairs after my session, but I've never seen better progress. If you want a hardcore environment that forces you to level up, this is your place. Highly recommend read more

Apex is such a great gym. I've worked out consistently for the last ten years. I've lost plenty of weight and gained a lot of muscle over the years. But when I go to the gym I stick my same Routine and stop gaining and just keep maintaining. The owner's Perla and elder are really good at pushing you to your limit. They treat you like there family. They come up with different work outs every single week and I really feel a difference in the last few months I've been here compared to working out at the gym with my friends or alone. They adapt your work out to your body. I'm really glad I started going here with my fiancé. I feel better and stronger then I have In years. Highly Recommend giving this class a chance if you want that dream body read more

Love it so much! They hold you accountable! And push you to your limits! Perla and Elder are the best !!!

I came to visit this boot camp to see what it's like. It's located right next door to the Laugh Factory. The coaches were welcoming and Perla gave me a quick intro to the facility after I signed all the release forms. She showed me how things were run, where things were located. Elder & Perla were quick to correct my form if I was doing it wrong. They will push you to your max ability, and I was really worn out after the workout - which is a good thing. I was working out muscles I didn't know I had. lol Parking can potentially be a pain in the rear, I came for a morning class when there are plenty of spots available on Citrus, but if you come later in the day, I reckon that parking would be hard to find. read more

I highly recommend Apex Boot Camp!! Love working out here! Perla is an amazing coach!! She corrects me if I'm doing something wrong and motivates me to keep going!!Great energy! Clean location! I love how class starts right on time!! Great atmosphere :) read more

This place is probably one of the best gyms I've ever been to. I was at F45 for about seven months, and the trainers there didn't really focus on form or how to work around injuries. In contrast, Perla and Elder always noticed when someone needed a modification and consistently corrected our form. In just four months, my legs became noticeably toned, and my body started transforming into something I was genuinely happy with. I lost almost 30 pounds and was coming in consistently about four to six days a week. Perla and Elder kept us accountable and matched the dedication we gave them. In my four months here, I've seen bigger and better results than I did in seven months at F45. The classes aren't easy--especially that first week--but that's exactly what got me to where I am now. I'm very grateful for Elder and Perla! read more

This is not just a regular gym that you come and go. This is the gym that will make you stronger! Elder and Perla are going to take care of you and push you to reach your goal. I joined the camp 5 months ago and couldn't be happier with them. Every workout is designed by Elder and it routinely target different muscles. The best part is he will do the workout with you to motivate you! love the Apex vibe. Please keep it going read more

Perla & Elder are a dynamic duo! They offer an eclectic full body and HIIT work out with upbeat Latinx dance music. It truly is a gem! I always get pushed to improve and leave feeling stronger. Don't miss out on this amazing class ! read more

Great facility. Instructors are friendly and push you to go harder during your workouts. Everything looks clean, seems like members have developed great relationships amongst each other. This is the place where you feel welcome no matter what your fitness level may be if you're season or a beginner trainers will work with you and provide modifications if needed. You have an opportunity to strength not only your body but also sharpen your mind and build friendships. Coach Perla is my number one fan and motivator. I just signed up two weeks ago and have been to all available classes. Since day 1, Elder and Perla have been AMAZING!! They're very attentive and answer all your questions, and give you pointers on what to do when you are at home in between boot camp appointments. In this short time of coming here the classes have been GREAT and I've been made to feel extremely comfortable and excited to get back in to shape! Not only did I join the bootcamp, but I have become a cyclist so that I can enjoy my workouts with family and friends, in addition to the bootcamp. Pearla and Hubby, Elder as so compassionate about you and the success of your goals. I love it, and I would strongly recommend this course. read more

Elder and Perla are both amazing trainers! Thank you for your intense energy, support, challenging workouts, and being remarkable trainers! I definitely recommend this boot camp if you're in search of a fun diverse workout group & a super clean studio. This is the place!!! read more

I have been coming here since 2019, Elder and Perla are so attentive and supportive. I had my first child in 2020 and they would call to see how I was feeling and when I would be back and made the transition from being on maternity leave without working out to being back in the gym so easy! They continue to push me every day and help me reach new goals I never thought possible. It is such a fun and friendly environment. I would highly recommend Apex for everybody no matter what level you are, they are great for learners and those that are more experienced, they always meet you where you're at! I can't stress enough how amazing this husband and wife duo is, you won't find anything else like it. read more

This is a great gym studio to go to when you want to switch up your workout routine from time to time. Please keep in mind this review is based on through my Class Pass visit. This gym studio is also convenient for me since me and wife just moved to West Covina more than a year ago and we wanted to build our community here. I took a class today for a full body workout (but focusing more on legs and conditioning) with Perla Mazariegos. This is my second time taking her class through Class Pass and she has been a great instructor with full of energy! Perla was very friendly, kind, encouraging, attentive, and helpful. She was always making sure everyone was in proper good form when everyone is doing the exercises and she keeps everyone motivated throughout the session. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone especially if you need a quick full body workout! Perla will put you to work, but not just push you, but in a very supporting, encouraging, and motivational way. Perla always treat everyone fairly and she respects your boundary and limitations. read more

I love the atmosphere. The trainers are amazing! It doesn't matter at what fitness level you're at, they will accommodate. Very safe with the COVID-19 protocols. read more

I was hesitant to start a boot camp. I've always worked out on my own. Well, until I broke my knee in two places and tore my meniscus, ACL and MCL. Being out of commission for 3 months and then returning to basic walking was difficult. My girlfriend and I joined APEX 2 months ago and I have to say, best decision of my life. I knew it the first day when we attended class and my heart wanted to jump out of my chest. Great workouts, happy people and Elder and Perla are down to earth owners and trainers. Always friendly and ready to challenge you to do better. So, not after two months. I can run again. Core and body feels amazing. We plan on continuing to challenge ourselves and keep on keeping on with APEX and the whole team. If you're on the fence about joining. Go somewhere else if you want it easy and slow results, but if you're serious. Team up with APEX. You won't regret it. read more

Best workout ever. I don't exercise but I tried Apex. I signed up for 3 months originally but I just committed for 1 year. Perla is wonderful! Very attentive and encouraging. Everyone who comes to the 5:10 am class are very friendly. Place is nice and kept up well. I 100% recommend this bootcamp. read more

I did a month of unlimited classes to this bootcamp through Groupon. It was $35 I believe but Groupon always has coupons. I do not like working out at the gym alone. I never know what to do and I kind of give up when I'm tired. I really enjoyed coming to Apex because it kept me accountable and I never had to think up my own workouts. Each day is designated to different body parts; so if you can only make it Monday and Wednesday you get a different rotation of body parts worked out compared to last week. The owner Elder and his wife are very positive and are great with motivating people. They're patient and are good about teaching you the movements if you've never done them before. Each class is about 50 minutes long so there's really no excuse not to come. I went to mostly morning classes and those are the best in my opinion. There's usually only one or two other people there and you basically get one on one training. I've been to one evening class if I saw that some people brought their kids and the kids hung out in an corner where the parents can still watch them and workout. You do sign a waiver that it's okay for you to be recorded while working out so just be wary of that. read more

I've been going to Apex for 3 weeks now. They have Awesome Instructors. I love it! Great workouts . Definitely recommend this bootcamp!

I recommend this CrossFit Boot Camp. Elder and Perla (Owners/Trainers) are honest people. They are encouraging and attentive. Within my 6months of starting here, I've had minor injuries with my ankle and lower back. Even with other people in class they remember, and instruct alternate exercises I can do to accommodate my injuries. The classes are challenging, but doable. The environment is clean and friendly. I'm happy to have found a gym that I can stick to going to daily. read more

I wanted to like this place i really did! First impression my first time here, place wreaked like SMOKE! I asked the gentleman who greeted me why it smelled like smoke. He acted surprised. He said "maybe it's because we just worked out and it's hot in here." I said no it smells like smoke. He said "yeah look it's just hot in here" as he opens the doors to air out the smell. Anyway I proceeded with my workout but had to keep stopping as the smell was bothering my throat. My friend came to workout with me and she noticed the smell too. So much so she was feeling sick during her workout. I'm not sure if someone who frequents this place is a smoker and brought the stench in so much so that it's in the walls or if maybe it's attached to a smoke shop. But I definitely not be back to workout in those conditions. My lungs are important to me! read more

Fantastic atmosphere and great workout!! I tried apex after shopping around a bit. This place is awesome and I now make it a part of my weekly routine. Facility is clean and well ventilated, and Perla is an awesome trainer. read more

I've been a member at Apex Boot Camp family for over a year now and I absolutely love it and recommend this place very highly and without any reservations. I was overweight when I started, but with the HIIT work-outs that includes cardio, weight training and stretching exercises I lost the 25 LBS I needed to lose in about 6 months and added in much needed muscle mass/strength to both my upper body and legs. I'm playing baseball competitively again and pitching with increased velocity I haven't been capable of doing for years. Love Apex Boot Camp! And the husband/wife team of Perla and Elder that run the place are just incredibly caring, loving and amazing people! read more

I have been going to this boot camp for 2 years now and I wouldn't go to any other gym ever again. I am dedicated to this boot camp, the atmosphere surpassed anything I've ever experienced. The trainers really care about you and your well being. Both Perla and Elder's energy, experience, passion and love they have for what they do is like nothing you will want to miss. They not only help you and modify the workout if necessary, they push you to your limit and want the best for you, always. I am down 50lbs and I'm really proud that I've been able to keep it off. They have different workouts every day, it's always something new and it's always fun and energetic. read more

I started my weight loss journey on April 05 2021 with Apex Boot Camp, as a stay at home mom I would make so many excuses for me not to work out and not change my life style. That was not only hurting me it was hurting my image the way I used to look at my self. No it was not easy to get up at 7 to be able to make it on time to the boot camp because I have a toddler and yes I took him with me because I wasn't going to limit myself with this excuse I did ask if I was able to bring him and they accepted me with my loving baby. It's wasn't easy at all the first three month I'm not going to lie but Elder and Perla the coaches told me a fase that I will never forget "it's Doable" and another one I love it "I love myself " from Elder they have pushed me to my limits and have shown me anything is possible only if your willing to change your life style and eating habits. read more

Love everything about APEX! Their reviews are a reflection of how the owners/trainers value each commitment given to them. My husband and I started APEX towards the end of December 2020, with an expectation of the standard boot camp stigmas. Well surprisingly it isn't like other boot camps, they don't have you compete with anyone but yourself (if that is what you like, this isn't the place). They motivate, encourage and applaud your accomplishments. They remember you as a person, not just a paying guest. We are always greeted with smiles and genuine sincerity to see us. I love the location and how clean it always is. Thanks guys for running such an amazing place for people to work out at. read more
