Bought a bunch of stuff I do NOT need. Looks like an $8 theme today, lol. See pictures. As this is a late review, I just left the Carson City, NV Costco and they have not started marking down their stuff yet. But you already know that because you are following :) Decent selection of micro brews, but not really local, so I skipped. Atmosphere - Overall consistent. Nothing too different that stood out. They have most, if not all the departments - Tire, food court, gas station, pharmacy, optical, hearing aids, etc. I should have checked their gas prices... Service - Self service. Price - Reasonable, inexpensive. But I always end up buying stuff I do NOT need..... So for me it was a little wasteful. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success at this location since 1994. Some gas stations offer conveniences such as carwashes, window washing items, or just basic pump and go. When I am traveling, my preference is always to stop at a gas station that offers something more than pumping and go. I prefer having a convenience store attached to the gas station in case I'm looking for something to drink, some gum or perhaps even a quick snack. Cleanliness is always a huge plus. This particular Valero's has a convenience store, and unhappy people that work there. We stopped to get gas, and walked inside to pay and grab a quick drink. The cashier was extremely unpleasant, and it was very clear not only was unhappy to be there, but he was clearly inconvenienced by us making a purchase. After we paid, we went out to pump the gas and the pump was not even ready for us to use. We had to walk back inside, and ask for him to turn the pump on. Literally standing there waiting for what felt like eternity, but was probably about two minutes or so until he decided to turn the pump on. No one else was there, so it should not of been an issue. The station itself is pretty basic, and snacks were at a minimum. The station was also fairly clean, as far as gas stations go. My issue at the station, was the attitude that the attendant had, and why it seems to go unnoticed. Clearly, he has worked there for a while and it doesn't seem to be an issue for management. As expensive as gasoline is, I certainly plan on going somewhere else, rather than spending my money in a place where it doesn't seem to be welcomed

Also the rotten Robbie saver club is truly rotten. They time out your PIN after a couple months of inactivity such that you have to reset everything. this involves a 15 minute diversion in your life making contact with their Technical Support and resetting of the passcode through their phone tree. shop a local, locally owned gas station, such as todd's across the street (gas & shop). hias has the brand new blue pumps that do accept Apple Pay at the pump itself. His rate for paying cash is the same as rotten Rob's cost if you use their saver club, so there really isn't much sense in having their card linked to your bank account that way.

Found this gas station near our unloading point and was happy to see the "cheaper" prices! But let's face it, gas just isn't cheap anymore, but at least this place offered lower prices than some nearby gas stations. Having to fill a truck size tank, made paying at the pump a little bit easier. Writing reviews about a gas station is not likely to be read by most people who are only searching for a nearby station and not particularly interested in individual experiences.  But as a loyal Yelper, I always feel compelled to write something about a business that I patronize.   As far as gas stations go, they fit the bill as being a good, solid filling station. Mini Mart within the building, a spacious lot with multiple pumps available, and conveniently located on a busy street corner where they provided cheaper than usual gas prices.
