Abby showed me that wasn't true. She helped me find really beautiful, well-made clothing from places I never would have thought to shop, and it opened up an entirely new door for me. Since working with her, I've become so much braver in how I show up. I'm exploring more, dressing more boldly, and having a lot more fun with what I wear. In the past, I defaulted to neutral, blend-in colors because I didn't want to stand out because of my size. Now I'm starting to see it almost as a superpower: this is how big I am, you're going to see me, and I get to express myself fully in it. Abby didn't just help me find clothes I loved. She helped me see what was possible for me.

One of my personal goals for 2020 was a complete overhaul of my wardrobe. I was looking for a…read moretop-to-bottom refresh as all of the clothes in my closet were old and frumpy. Due to the enormity of the task I decided to enlist the services of a personal stylist to assist me. Early in the year I started contacting stylists based on listings in Yelp. Ting was the first person I was able to reach over the telephone. She had stellar reviews and the rates she quoted me seemed more than reasonable. We had made arrangements in mid-March to begin the process but unfortunately the shelter in place orders due to COVID-19 put a stop to those plans. Once restrictions began loosening up in the fall Ting contacted me to proceed with the initial plan. In our first meeting I told her specifically that I was looking for a stylish, versatile, minimalist wardrobe. As she looked through my closet, I explained that my preference would be to get rid of everything and do a complete revamp. We discussed what my wardrobe should look like based on my age, size, and fashion goals. The first day of shopping, Ting arranged to be at the store a half hour before I arrived. Once I showed up there was a dressing room reserved for me with shirts, sweaters, jackets, pants, and shoes all picked out already. When I saw that my gut feeling told me that I had made the right decision to hire her. A task that would have likely taken me all weekend was condensed down to three hours. Overall, the services she provided were as follows: an initial consultation at my residence, three hours of shopping in person, searching for online products for remaining items, and one final consultation at my residence. She helped me with absolutely everything, from shirts and pants to socks and belts. Besides the utility of the new wardrobe, I've found the experience to have a rejuvenating effect on my psyche. Seeing my new closet brings me much joy and I feel like a new man. I give Ting my highest recommendation.

After she matches outfit for me, and did my hair, I felt like a completely different person! I felt pretty and confident! I'm just learning so much from her, and I truly appreciate her hard work! Especially with people like us who had no clue what fashion/style was about. I highly recommend Ting as your stylist, and a friend you would have for life.

Before kids, I traveled extensively with our business, basically living out of a suitcase, with a very limited wardrobe, and had not updated it for a long time. After the birth of my son, I found myself with a stubborn 8 lbs that wouldn't go away, and an even more limited wardrobe because my previous clothes didn't fit, were worn out, were out of date, or were random pieces I has attempted to buy post-partum that didn't look good on me or match other clothes in my closet. Danean did a closet audit to help me figure out which clothes to keep and which to get rid of. She shopped my closet to put together outfits I could wear immediately, kept a list of things I needed, helped me figure out my style, and shopped for me. On her next visit, she brought me new outfits I loved that looked stylish and put-together, and suited my everyday kid-chasing lifestyle. She also ensured I had a few more elevated outfits put together for occasions ranging from Sunday brunch with the family, kid-free girl's lunch, or a dressy date night. Danean has been back several times since then and has been very flexible in working with me in some out of-the-box requests. Once I purchased a bunch of clothes I liked, and she helped me try them on, find matches in my closet and make a list of matches to buy, she shopped for the matches, and she handled all the returns including the items I purchased myself. When I had my 2nd child, Denean shopped for new maternity items and created an athleisure wardrobe so I would have comfy and stretchy but still put-together looks in the early days post-partum, when lots of people stop by to see the baby. She has been back to work with me many times in the last 4.5 years. I agree with other reviewers that each time I feel like I am visiting with an old friend! I would highly recommend Danean. Whether you are shopping for your everyday look or for a special occasion, she will not disappoint.
