I just received the worst load of firewood I have ever recieved. By far. First they attempted to…read moreleave a 1/4 cord delivery of piñon/juniper mix in a huge truck. They said their pickup was broken. The driver tried to back down my driveway and broke only a few branches before I stopped him. He wanted to back more but I like my trees with branches. So he dumped the load a couple hundred feet up at the entrance to the drive as I requested. I am a 78 y/o man with a bad back, but I like my trees. Many of the pieces of wood were too big to use in my fireplace, I will have to cut them. Many others were were chunks that won't stack well. Others were partially rotten and won't provide much heat.. I have a large pile of small pieces and baskets full of shredded juniper bark that the rodents can use to build nests if it isn't too late. Unfortunately I have plenty of kindling and I doubt there are enough rodents near my house to take all that bark. I am not sure how to dispose of it since I don't yet have a county burning permit and my trash service is limited. I suppose the upside is that I don't have to stack a lot of wood. It is a mess: there will residue around until spring, at least, since a real cleanup will take several days and there are other things I have to do.. To their credit, sorta, the 1/4 cord of wood was very large, but now I have to deal with it all. I guess I could hire someone (at about the same cost as the wood). Never again!

We had plenty of ideas of what we wanted and she worked closely and easily with us to incorporate most of our desires and gently explained why other ideas were not feasible. She also has a crew for maintaining gardens and drip systems, if you are interested in that. We rely on them for some of the heavier maintenance and do some ourselves. Now in their 2nd and 3rd years, our gardens look more beautiful each years as the plants mature and fill in. We know some of her other clients, and they are extremely pleased, too.

We have had a problem with our sprinklers on zone 4, and had several individuals look at the zone…read morein hopes of resolving the issue, however none were able, in fact they said they had no idea what was causing the problem. Sprinkler Rx had left a business card in a bag on our driveway so we called to see what they could do. John and Josh showed up on time and in a matter of minutes they had identified the problem and resolved the issue. Upon running the zone now that it was fixed they noticed a few sprinklers that were in need of replacing. We discussed their replacing the sprinklers for me with the same brand and model of sprinkler I was currently using, and came to an agreement to have that work done as well. 2 days later John and Nate returned on time again and immediately went to work replacing the bad sprinkler heads. Once replaced, they ran the zone and adjusted and balanced all the heads to ensure proper coverage and eliminating unneeded over spray. John, Josh, and Nate were extremely polite, and very professional. Their knowledge and expertise put the other sprinkler companies to shame; and their workmanship and clean up were in a word perfect.
