Pleasant stay at Apache Lodge. Vintage 1946 motel with modern upgrades. Great change of pace. Occupancy was full. Very reasonable price. No issues with service, check in or check out. Room 35 had two double full size beds, was clean with large flat screen. Room reportedly was an upgrade when checked in but had no work desk. Excellent wifi and overall great nostalgia vibe. Prescott Junction Restaurant next door. Will stay here again... but will confirm room amenities upon check in just to be sure.

The Apache Lodge, a Prescott landmark. It's been many years since I have stayed here. It may not be a 5 star motel but I give it 5 stars. The experience started at check in, the gentleman at the front desk was about to call me and ask when I would be arriving. The reason? He had the room heater started so I wouldn't have to enter a cold room. The motel is old and has been remodeled since my last visit. It was cozy and clean, wasn't looking for anything more. If you're looking for luxury, this probably isn't your place. If you're looking for cozy, clean and quiet, this place is for you. For me, the accommodations and service were stellar, I will be back for sure.

The room was run down, and not really suitable for habitation. Broken window glass, windows that don't close, no heat (yes, you need heat in the winter!) It looks like a renovation was underway, then abandoned somewhere midstream, leaving the room unfinished. So there are some good points, like the bathroom appearance - although it's functionality is somewhat questionable. The hotel has a pretty cool Highway 66 ambiance. Rooms are clean (very clean!) Miguel, the night guy, is wonderful!

I've been traveling all over the world since I was 18. I've been in some REALLY NICE places, BUT NOTHING!!!!! NOTHING comes close to the Apache Lodge It's the total package. As soon as I walked through the door to check in, I was greeted with a smile and a "You must be.." he stuck his hand out and we shook hands. He also held the room for me cause it was the last one left. I thought he was the owner the way he was treating me. We now pulled up to our room (parking is literally at your door step) opened the door and was shocked to see brand new (looking) blankets, pillows, big ass flat screen TV, tea of all things, the softest towels you will ever have at a hotel, cherry wood mini bar, LOOK ILL be on this forever telling you how PERFECT it was. Heck, the toilet paper was even soft. Name brand shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. The bed .. PERFECT (for me). Ohh yeah, and a mini fake wood furnace that plugged in. It LITERALLY looked like IKEA came in here and decorated it. I can't say ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT The Apache Lodge. About 100 yards from a Circle k, 100 yards in the other direction you gotta liquor store, and about two miles from the clubs (well, what they call clubs) And don't get me started on the owner!!! Treated me like he had knew me for years (just met). House keepers.... VERY POLITE and went outta there way to say hi.. "Grounds keeper".. THE SAME.. Look, the last thing you guys wanna do is read a book, so I'ma end it on this.... IF YOU WANT A QUAINT, PEACEFUL, ROMANTIC, INEXPENSIVE, GET TREATED WITH RESPECT THE WAY YOU SHOULD WHEN YOU SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, CLEAN!!!! CLEAN!!!! CLEAN!!!! Then the Apache Lodge is your place. Did I mention it was CLEAN..... I mean, unless you like spending twice the amount of money to park 9 miles away, carry ALLLLLLLLLLLL your stuff to the front desk, then given popcorn (so you don't get lost), GPS and satellite instructions on where your room is, then walk down "The Shinning" hall ways, to find out your electronic key card doesn't work, then be my quest. But I'm telling you, you will not regret staying here. I will not stay ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE from now on. Thank you for reading my book, and enjoy your stay. I'm going to bed..

My friend and I had stayed at this lodge that was recommended by a friend and it was horrible! Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a non smoking king size bed with a fireplace we arrive and recieved 2 twin beds no fireplace we had talked to the front office and they gave us another room which still had no fireplace and was a smoking room. There was a huge crack in the ceiling that was caving in, major stains on the chair, the bathroom had holes in the wall and was dirty and the shower was extremely small and was on a constant leak where the shower curtain was wet, the heater would not shut off so we had to open up all windows with a beautiful view of a trailer in front of the window. Also there was a microwave right outside the room. I would not recommend this lodge to anyone!!

This place is located right downtown in the restaurant and bar area easy access to shopping eating and drinking We also found out that they have an indoor space as well as the outdoor event space. Many times walking past and we have seen plenty of people at the outdoor events. It is a really cool hotel and venue. As it turns out, they own this hotel, restaurants, and one of our favorite speakeasies down in the valley called the "White Rabbit ". I cannot wait to share this place with my out-of-town guest. We were in Rough Riders which happens to be at the back stairwell so no other room on that side. The window faces opposite of the courtyard and not much view but that was fine for us. The AC was a little loud, but also fine for us as we like a little noise when sleeping. The bed was comfy and the 11:00 check out was great. There is not an ice maker but small bags of ice are available at the hydration station. There is no mini fridge or microwave but since it is on the row there are so many eateries within walking distance for all meal times. It was so nice and convenient that my daughter and I are heading back there soon!

I called the Inn and the young lady took my call (I'm sorry I can't recall her name) told me she would contact housekeeping and get back with me that day. 2 hours later I received the call back and was informed my clothes were there. This is when they went that extra step. She confirmed with me that my address on file was correct. Then she let me know they will be mailing my clothing to me, and at no charge!!!! Y'all, this is what excellent customer service and attention to detail is all about. If you are planning a trip to Prescott, please consider staying at the Hassayampa Inn. The accommodations are uniquely Southwestern in style and comfort. Well-appointed rooms, with great dining restaurant, a cozy, fun bar/lounge with wonderful music every evening. The Inn is within walking distance to Whiskey Row, the Courthouse, and lots of shops and restaurants. Staying there at Christmas is festive and magical too. But still with super cool and creative design. Maddie was extraordinarily friendly, professional and welcoming. We reserved room #6 which was perfect for my partner and I. Perfectly sized so we could both move around without bumping into one another. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Some rooms (ours was one) come with carports to protect your vehicle from the brutal Arizona sun. Although, it's not so brutal up here (we came in June and the temps definitely beat Phoenix temps). Each room has a lovely little patio area in front where you can enjoy some outdoor time with lovely views of pine trees. It was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Also, if you're up there in summer and can brave the summer temps, it was a nice walk (about 1.5 miles) to Whiskey Row where all the excitement lies. Yeah, there was a loss of communication on the ability to check in after hours (their office hours end at 5 pm on weekdays and 7 pm on weekends). I ended up staying at a nearby motel, the Sierra Inn, just down the street (see my review of that place). I did return the next day and I got a refund (all but the non-refundable $25). Kaylee was especially kind in helping me get my refund. I hope I get a chance to stay there on the next trip thru Prescott. NOTE - this motel has the shortest office hours of any that I've ever stayed at, but they do have digital keys for the rooms, so you can arrive after office hours and still get in. There was a glitch on the phone number help line, that I'm sure will be rectified promptly. You park in front of your room and the parking is a little tight, so don't bring your Giant 4x4 or RV. So why did I give a motel 5 stars without having stayed there? Well, mostly because of Kaylee at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help me get my money back, and if the rooms are as good as her assistance was, it's worth every star.

I am a Hilton gold member so I travel to Hiltons 20 to 30 nights a year, so I have stayed at several Hamptons before and I've stayed at all the Hilton properties in Prescott. This by far was the coziest experience we had. The hotel, the parking lot for landscaping the decorations all made me feel like I was in a Hallmark movie. The staff was great when we checked in and they allowed us to check in our room two hours early. We forgot our phone charger and they had an extra one that we could use during our day. As expected, the bed was comfortable lots of pillows, and the heater worked very quickly . The room was very clean and they also had an indoor hot tub. I enjoy coming out before heading out to see the Christmas lights to notice the fresh bake cookies prepared for all the guests in the lobby . We also noticed when you checked in, they had a handful of coupons for restaurants nearby to get some nice discounts. I enjoyed staying at this location because it was close enough to downtown for a quick 5 to 10 minute drive but also further enough out so you weren't in the mess of all the traffic . It's location is also nice because it's around all the restaurants in local shopping in the area.. We will definitely be back next year ! The price was incredibly affordable in comparison to the other hotels around. You're definitely getting more bang for your buck here.
