I've been to bigger box gyms where the cleanliness and customer service was lacking so I always appreciated the experience here. If planet fitness has the equipment you need, there is really no reason to look anywhere else. Additionally, cancelling was very easy. I ended up getting a different membership through work and when I went to the location to cancel it was an extremely easy and painless process. They aren't one of those places where you have to beg or jump through hoops to get out of a membership. The same goes for pausing/freezing your membership, they also make that process a breeze. Overall I'm very happy with my experience and highly recommend this location especially.

The manager indicated she corrected it and I would receive a credit on my cc for the amount that I should not have been charged. Not sure what she did because later that evening I got a text stating my account was past due! Stay the hell away from this place; I think they could screw up a one man funeral.

We were then introduced to a sales specialist who wanted to sell us a membership that included one on one training. When we asked for a free trial for a couple days we were told that we could get a couple free days but we needed to sign up for a 3 month membership at 280 dollars every two weeks to unlock the free trial, but we could cancel within 3 days no questions asked. We decided the next day it wasn't for us. When we stopped in we were told not to worry that they would take care of the cancellation and call us later that day to confirm. Three texts later trying to convince us to reconsider the salesperson relented and said that they would handle the cancellation. That night I received a email stating that I would be getting biweekly charges of 280 dollars. The next morning I was informed that I had to come in and personally cancel my membership because he couldn't get it done without me. I went there and he pulled up his screen and after a couple minutes stated that I had been successfully canceled. However there was nothing he could give me in writing. I asked to take a screenshot of his monitor and he allowed me to. I then asked why I had to come in at all since I didn't have to sign anything and he said that they wanted him to have another shot at selling me the membership. Two weeks later and they still have not credited my credit card even though I received a email from corporate that my membership is canceled. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.

I asked specifically for a trial pass. Instead, the sales rep signed me up as a full member and assured me I had 14 days to cancel without being charged the annual membership fee. Based on what I was told, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying it out. On day 13, I walked in to cancel since it just wasn't going to work for me or my wife. That's when they told me I would be charged the $90 annual fee plus one full month, because cancellation supposedly requires 30 days notice. How exactly am I supposed to give 30 days notice when I had only been a member for 13? I asked for a manager, who basically shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. She even asked if I had tried the 3-day trial pass -- the same trial pass I originally asked for and was told didn't exist! So now I'm being charged an annual fee and a month of membership for a gym I only went to because I was misled by their sales staff. The whole experience felt dishonest and manipulative, and they absolutely refused to make it right. Be extremely careful before signing anything here. Don't trust what the sales reps tell you -- get everything in writing. I wish I never walked in the door.

You don't own the equipment until you're completely finished. Sitting on a machine scrolling your phone for several minutes while others wait is rude and inconsiderate. And please--clean what you've touched. Wipe down machines, benches, and mats when you're done. It's basic courtesy and hygiene in a shared space. Gyms are shared spaces. Be aware of your surroundings, be efficient, and respectful of other members' time. A little consideration would go a long way in improving the overall experience here.
