We spent a few hours here, but truthfully could have stayed all day! A couple of climbing newbies tagged along with us, and the Alta team did a great job with orientation. We were also able to quickly get belay certified, which unlocked the entirety of the gym! I was so blown away by how many routes they had available - we barely scratched the surface. The auto-belay kid-friendly area was so cool as well  - I love that they're going out of their way to make climbing fun and accessible for folks of all ages. My cousin and younger sister really enjoyed the theming - they said they felt like superheroes scaling a building to save someone! Everything was clean and well-maintained, and since we visited at a slower time, we had our choice of routes the entire time! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area, and I highly recommend Alta to new and experienced climbers alike!

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The gym is new and includes a walking track, there are brand new pickleball courts, a gymnasium, a preschool (Building Blocks), classrooms, and other activities as well. They offer day, monthly, and annual passes for visitors and residents. It's worth checking out if you're in the area!

My 2 year old loves the smaller kid splash area with smaller slides. The only things that would improve the experience is if hours were longer. It opens late and closes early. It's not open long enough for family swim, especially for weekend hours. The gym and kids club are awesome too! I also tried some of the fitness classes, and they were just okay. I'm sure they're looking for new classes and instructors to add to the list. A barre and palates class would be great! Something with fun upbeat music and instructors would be nice. There is very little seating that is always taken up or so far away you cannot see your kid. There is an area upstairs that is now closed off I used to be able to watch the toddler class. The lower level never has seating. This is so unsafe, there is a million adults and kids and you cannot know who belongs to who. Any creeper could walk in no questions asked and walk out with a kid they told to keep quiet. Parents need to be able to view and watch their kids for safety. Something bad will happen and then change will occur and that is just sad.

I ended up purchasing an Ohm at home suit, which is very easy to operate, via the Ohm fitness at home app. I have a lot of muscle atrophy from my stroke and EMS really gets the blood flowing to these muscles. It's been about 2 months of workouts and there are signs of progress. I highly recommend Ohm Fitness to Seniors and especially those that have disabilities. You are not lifting heavy weight , but you do have to do the work. You could do almost nothing, but your improvements will take longer. If you choose the Red Mountain location, you will find a well organized site, staffed with very helpful and friendly people, along with knowledgeable instructors.

Staff is always super chill and helped give us a rough intro and learn how to fall, rent the right shoes, and get chalked. Really pretty nice and empty around 12pm weekdays (might change when kiddos are out for summer). Already met some other cool climbers too! They also have a spray wall, hang boards, and you can buy fun lil drinks/snacks. Tons of sitting area and i plan to come back a lot this summer and maybe even send a monthly membership. Thanks Alta!
