Several attempts to stop the most significant and accesible leaks were attempted by Sierra during rainy season with limited success. This year,approaching end of my 10 year warranty, I urgently requested more thorough repairs. They sent out a senior tech Kevin to assess, who acknowledged apparent installation problems. To their credit, working through the new installation manager Randy, they sent a crew of 4 who removed all panels and resealed ALL installation locations. I wait until the rainy season arrives this year to assess the success, but I have to say, that within a couple months of my 10 year warranty, this company stood by their product and installation. Definitely a CLASS ACT. The solar panels themselves (I think Toshiba was the manufacture) have been very dependable even at almost 10 years, I'm measuring probably 80%+ of their original output. I would not hesitate to use Sierra Pacific in the future and would recommend them to anyone seeking a solid, customer-focused company.

It was a new control panel for our pool, and I'd never seen this message before. Thinking the worst, I called Sierra to come out and do a diagnostic. Edgar came out checked everything out and determined that it was just a normal alert that displays when the solar isn't active.....nice going Dad! It was probably the most money I ever made in the 30 minutes it took me to get the information I needed and learn about Valley Solar. I had several other solar installers provide me with quotes and some of those were at least twice as much for a similar system. Some companies would not even give me a quote because they did not want to deal with Lodi Electric Utility. Once I contacted Valley Solar in January they responded immediately and I was up and running in March. The system has performed flawlessly producing power and I will break even in another 4 years. Valley Solar is very pro-active and has been out a couple of times to address issues with the system communication function. I did not request these visits, they just called and asked if they could come out and do some upgrades. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.
