Racks, weights, treadmill - the whole gang's here, clocking in like Dunder Mifflin employees. The trainers, or our fitness Jim and Pam, guide you through workouts. They throw in a "Good job, champ!" or a "One more rep, superstar!" It's as if Michael Scott traded his Dundie Awards for a fitness certification. The "Altitude and HITT" class is our Dundies night. We leave feeling cooler than a Schrute beet, flexing muscles like we're auditioning for the regional paper salesman calendar. The ambiance, well, it's no Dunder Mifflin, but it's something. Rope lights, dark rooms like Stanley's disinterest, and the walls, well, they're there, like Toby in HR. Traverse Fitness: where coolness collides with the mundane, just like a day at Dunder Mifflin. Reportedly a sanitarium, this Movement claims to bring optimum health and vitality to its…read morepatrons--but I assure you that it's a facade, and their ambitions are far more nefarious than one would ever dream. I have damning proof that what I infiltrated on that fateful eve was in fact a mysteriously hedonistic assassins' training camp. Furthermore, I deduced that they specialize in scaling fortress and castle walls, for there is no conceivable reason to put so much effort into ascending those man-made, color-coded structures. I regret not having these assassins on my flank in the Battle of Lodi in 1796, we could've used their expertise on those ghastly walls. Though I question their fortitude in the face of adversity, because their main adversary is seemingly banal intangibles. Yes, I heard from their very mouths that they are after no king, army, or bounty, but rather the "work week" and "stress." I tried to assure them that these targets are far too elusive for any man of this earth to kill or capture. But alas, they persist, undetered by my warnings. Amusement aside, beware of these Movement assassins. Their battle cry is "everyone is welcome," consequently such an inclusive alliance is sure to enlist countless volunteers, and I fear that their numbers will soon swell to surpass even the army of Tsar Alexander. Their dress code evades reason and uniformity. Their ensambles remind me of the those ferocious Mamluks who we fought in the Battle of the Pyramids. And they partake in the most peculiar pre-mating ritual which they refer to as "yoga." They bend and move about in sacriligous gestures wearing only their undergarments. Disturbing as it is, it's working as they openly speak of their premarital sexual exploits openly. They must be stopped, for I overheard that they'll soon be pillaging some territory colloquially known as "Red Rocks." God save us, they are sweaty, persistent little creatures with an endless array of hydrating beverages to fuel their ravenous endeavors. They do have weaknesses though; their sentries show little concern for carriage parking, they have no calvary or artillery, and best of all, they get deeply offended by unsolicited instructions regarding where to put one's hands and feet upon ascending the man-made structures.

I truly love this gym. It's always been clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. However,…read moreI'm extremely disappointed with the recent changes to the Kids Club staff. The previous morning and evening staff were amazing. They knew how to interact with the children, redirect them when needed, and make parents feel comfortable leaving their kids while getting a workout in. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been very different. Steph has repeatedly texted me to come get my child because they are crying, rather than making an effort to redirect or comfort them. It has become difficult to enjoy a full workout without being interrupted. I understand that some children need extra attention, and I appreciate that working in childcare can be challenging. However, I believe staff should be equipped to handle these situations with patience and professionalism. I have also found my interactions with Steph to be rude and judgmental. I often feel talked over and unable to fully express my concerns. This has made an already frustrating situation even more uncomfortable. After speaking with other parents, I've learned that I'm not the only one who has noticed a difference in the quality of care since the previous staff left. Many of us genuinely miss the team that was here before and the level of care and professionalism they provided. I'm also concerned about the way rules and expectations seem to be communicated and enforced since the previous leadership staff left. I would really like to see management take a closer look at the Kids Club, provide appropriate staff training, and ensure that all employees are treating parents respectfully. It's disappointing because I genuinely love this gym, but the Kids Club experience has become a major reason why we're now considering going to the Littleton location instead. Please take these concerns seriously. Parents should feel comfortable leaving their children in the Kids Club, and we deserve to be treated with respect when communicating with staff. I hope management will address these issues and work toward restoring the quality of care that made this gym such a great place in the first place. (I am using a friends account because I do not want Steph to contact me again).
