Tommy and his son Thomas were really thorough in tracking down the problem, which turned out to be trickier than expected (the foyer light fixture had a loose connection they eventually found). Very professional, reasonably priced, and I'd definitely recommend them.

Two years later, I finally can use it, thanks in large part to Harris Electrical Service. Father and son came over before doing any work to check what needed to be done. They wound up charging me less than their estimate. They did a great job in just a few hours. They even installed a light switch just inside the service door so I no longer have to take a flashlight to get safely into the building. They replaced the museum-ready shop light. They made power to the garage door opener possible. And they are super nice people. I'll definitely hire them again.

The job went off with no issues and Nathan took the time to go through and make sure everything was completely correct. When the city inspector came out to sign off on the permit, I told him who installed it and he said he has never had any issues with Nathan's work and signed it off with no further review. Today, Nathan came back out and installed a ceiling fan in my living room. I have installed fans before, but have a vaulted ceiling and felt it needed a professional rather than a DYI installation. Another residential electrical project completed and we couldn't be happier. We called Flash…read moreElectric and DeAnna answered the call. She did a quick assessment to get an understanding of what services we actually needed. Our project was a small residential project that we thought was only important to us. Sam followed up within the hour and was able to give us an idea of when his team would be able to come out. Our timing was perfect because Sam worked us in between other larger projects and had Dalton and Dillon (yes that's correct) at our home within a few hours of our initial call. This is the third time we've used Flash Electric in the last few years and they always come thru. If you needed electrical work and didn't know who to trust? Now you do, call.....Flash Electric! Let me first start off with "it was all good until", he was called out for his employees sitting in…read moretheir van all day. ok not that big a deal people need rest right? well that turned i to him having his feathers ruffled by the fact that a woman is who called him out. He absolutely has a problem with women being in charge. I work a 40 hour job and my wife doesnt so we decided that she would act as the GC. So she is in charge. Well he does not like that at all. Then his feathers got even more out of shape when we decided to buy/install a generator. Mind you a generator brand that he does not sell. That set him off. Then came the issues with install. slow as molasses on a cold day. job could have been wrapped up in about 2 weeks but took almost 2 months. Only the quote was in writing. Make sure you get Flash to agree to ALL DRYWALL repair if needed. Almost every room in our house there was drywall damage. When we asked him about fixing it and what his process was he simply said he does NOT repair any drywall that they damage. NONE. Well to say the least that was the end of his service. We went round and round with text after text and at the end of the day decided to pay for the repairs. Well it was too late we had already gotten our drywallers scheduled for the next morning and we decided to just absorb the cost and be done with it. Well that set him off even more saying he was willing to pay and or repair the drywall. It had been a day or two since we first brought it to his attention so we felt he had ample time and opportunity to reverse his decision and offer to fix what his crew just messed up. 4 or 5 recessed lights that the hole were no where near where they were supposed to be. One of the holes was even too large with the worker admitting to my wife that he grabbed the wrong size! At the time we actually laughed it off thinking that that "mistake" would certainly be rectified. NOPE. Ive tried to keep this light hearted for my own sanity tho im sure it will not seem that way. All in all id give 2 stars. Flash Electric came to us as a recommendation though i absolutely could not in good conscience recommend further. This review had nothing to do with cost of this particular project. That will stay with us. Communication and the lack thereof due to inability to work with a woman. And the absolute flat out refusal to pay for repairs that his company were 100% responsible for.
