When I arrived at Labcorp, I clicked the button that clearly said, do NOT run tests that are NOT covered by my insurance. They ignored this. They ran all of the tests and then tried to bill me $190 for a $15 dollar test! I refused to pay the bill because, I had instructed them not to. Four years later... I have a simple blood test and they refused me service until I pay the $190. So... profits over patients, huh? I well not be held hostage for your stock holders! No way! I went to a Physician assistant at Revere concerning my hip. The bill exceeded $900. Medicare did not cover the balance. I paid the copay upon arrival, and Revere billed me additional.
