Lowest price I had quoted. Skeptical of their work but decided to let them do my double gate. And I'm happy they did. Played a little bit of phone tag, but it's understandable when your running your own business. Once they laborers were working on the gate they were very accommodating on any changes I wanted done, for example I wanted to add another cane bolt and another hole in the concrete. Work was competed in a timely manner and organized. Although they did leave some trash behind, it wasn't anything serious. I would recommend this company to friends and family. read more

I had Any Fence come out and give us an estimate on moving a double gate on the side yard forward several feet. They gave us the bid and we scheduled the job for June 29th. No workers ever showed. My wife called and left a few messages inquiring what had transpired. No one called back. Since it can take several days for them to return a call (learned that from scheduling the estimate) I waited a week and called myself and left a message. I needed a complete fence and added a r/v gate to the side of the house, they used top materials, worked fast and cleaned up everything in the work areas. This was over 250 feet of fence with a double wide intrance gate with steel frame. We've used Any Fence in the past but has been several years. Process went very smoothly. However this time called to have an estimate for additional fencing. Left a message on office machine few days later someone called and scheduled appointment with Amanda for almost two weeks later. Well waited and waited all morning and a no show. I called and no one answered. I did leave a message. So far no call back and still no answer from office. I know they say they have office hours but I don't think they do. We used Any Fence to replace the old leaning fence we had for our entire backyard. The walk through, estimate, and time frame went well and the install itself looked great when I first arrived home. However, when I looked at one of the gates they replaced on the side of the house, I noticed that it wasn't aligned correctly where it latches. Basically it was straight at the bottom, but as you move upwards to the latch, there winds up being a difference of about 3 inches...essentially a V shaped gap. I planned on calling them but decided to look at the rest of the install. While the fence itself was up to par, I noticed that they didn't just trample on multiple plants, but instead just ripped them up and discarded them. Also, the drip system I installed along the entire back fence was sliced in multiple places which had to be repaired and my glass bird bath was smashed on the ground. Further, piles of dirt and cement rock were left over landscaped areas that took quite a bit of effort to remove. Overall, the installation was very sloppy and they made no mention of any damage to me before they left. That weekend I called them asking if they would at least come and fix the gate. They stated they would first thing Monday and that it was done by a relative that was in a hurry. Monday came...no show. I called them and left a message each day for the next 3 days. No callback...no repair. Now this is the same place that offers a 5 year warranty, but they won't fix a gate they just completed days before. Bear in mind I was never rude to them, I wasn't receiving any discount, and I wasn't pressing the damages they did. Still they simply decided to ignore me now that they had my money. My neighbors two doors down had planned to use them as well to do their entire backyard but will now look elsewhere. I suggest others do the same. read more

Do not use them!!! They do half ass work!!! We got our entire fence done, and we noticed they only used 2 nails per board. One side of the fence had 4 nails in each board. We complained and he said he would come and fix it but he never showed up. We also wanted "board on board" so you could not see through the fence, but he spaced the boards to far apart so after the boards dried up and shrank, you can see through the fence. He should of known to space the boards closer so this would not happened. He used the minimal amount of nails and boards he could possibly use. After calling him several times, I just gave up. Our side fence blew down in the wind storm right before Thanksgiving. I called Any Fence, they did the quote right after the holiday and replaced the fence the following week. Great quality redwood. Friendly, professional workers. Hauled away the old fence, installed the new and cleaned up the place better than when they started. To top it all off, their quote was the lowest of the three I got and they truly did a great job. Although I am located in Benicia, they came and did the job here with no extra expense. I have used Any Fence on no less than four houses I have lived in or flipped. They were always quick, efficient, clean and best of all the least expensive. Any fence just completed 2 side fences for me in Vacaville, CA and did an outstanding job. I discovered that the owner, had recently, and suddenly, passed away. The family, and most importantly, the crew led by Gustave are continuing on. Richard's passing may be the cause of recent bad reviews. Amanda, Richard's daughter, has taken over the scheduling and business office. While she was very helpful with scheduling a short notice replacement because of neighbor and new renter problems, I did have some problems with her returning phone calls promptly. Really disappointed in this company. Amanda came out on time and gave us a quote which was for a really good price. We asked for 2 side gates to be redone and 35' of board on board fencing. We were told that they would be done same day. The work was scheduled for this Thursday to start at 8:30AM. Amanda sent us an email the night before telling us that her team would not make it until 10:30AM. Well 10:30 came and went. We left phone messages with the company, emailed Amanda asking if they were still coming. No answer, no email back. A whole day wasted waiting and waiting for them to show up but they never did. Friday morning we get a second email explaining that they experienced some unforeseen circumstances but assured us that they would be out at 11AM this morning to do the job. Well its now 1PM, no fence company, no phone calls or emails. Here you have a customer ready to give you $2k for work and you can't even bother to give them a call or even explain the situation. To me, this company is unreliable. If they do show up I am sending them away and giving my business to someone who actually cares about their customers. read more

Any Fence did a great job on a basic dog eared good neighbor redwood fence. Amanda gave a very competitive quote no fuss right over the phone. Gus and his crew were out there on time and completed the fence in less than 2 days. The quality of the work and materials used were very good. It really enhanced the appearance of the yard. I have used their service on another property and that was more than 5 years ago and the fences are holding up quite well. I was assured they would come at an agreed upon day and time so I left work to be home. They never arrived. I called again but never got a call back. I was perfectly willing to pay for the work. Last May I had Any Fence repair and stain my fence along with constructing a new gate. Repair and stain appeared good. We have an older fence with a lattice top and the service guy convinced me to let him build a round top gate without the lattice as he said it would be stronger. Bad mistake on my part. About two months later, our HOA rejected the round top gate as their rules state that all gates and fences in this area of Hiddenbrooke must be the same. So I tried to contact Any Fence, both Amanda on her cell phone and also the office number. Amanda said she would have the service guy call me that night. I have NEVER had a call back. I've left numerous voice mails on both numbers with no luck. Also, some of the boards on the fence that were stapled are now coming loose so I have to have those redone also. These people have no idea what customer service is. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them for any work of any kind. I've never left a negative comment online about anybody before but these people deserve it. read more

They did a beautiful job on my fence replacing 130' of fence and also built me a new gate. I got two bids and they were 3 times lower than another fence company I called. Our neighbors all decided that our 20 year old fences needed to be replaced as they were falling down. Any Fence was hired to replace them all at once. They postponed the initial start date but were prompt on the rescheduled date. Work was done quickly and the fence looks great and seems sturdy (time will tell). Work was exactly as described. Workers were not at all careful about plants with many plants trampled, lunch trash was left around as well as cigarette butts. Good work, fast, accurate estimate but sloppy workers. read more
