Oh my. Antrim looks just as good in person as it does in online pictures. Our cabin, the Pond, overlooked a pond and a stream. The bed, pillows, and covers were luxury all the way. Same for bathroom towels and rainfall shower. The room size was very spacious. They stocked the fridge with milk, fruit, and yogurt. Granola, fresh coffee, and tea available. Fully stocked kitchen. BBQ available, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and hammocks. The bridge over the creek is fun to walk across. They also have a hiking trail that they've signed in such a way that you can't get lost. Ask about the free farm tour. A couple of minutes to Livingston Manor for wine shops, supermarkets, and places to eat. We did take out. Check out the Beaverkill Covered Bridge in Lew Beach. While not priced at chain motel prices, Antrim Streamside is very affordable vs other local places to stay. We'll be back. FYI, everything here is keyless. They give you a code to enter the property and your cabin/house.

Deb and Steve were so welcoming and helpful in answering all of our questions, and their property is absolutely gorgeous. You can see the years of love and care that have gone into maintaining their house and its surrounding land over generations. One of their adorable cats even hopped along with us on our tour! While we ended up going with a different event space, closer to our ceremony site, I would recommend Stonehouse Gardens to anyone looking for a unique and rustic place to host an event, particularly if you are looking to be in the natural beauty of the outdoors. There were so many areas of the property that would have been lovely for photos, it would have been almost impossible to choose!

We had a food truck and food stall, created our own outdoor cocktail hour area with strands of lights and a photo booth, and transformed the barn into an 80s disco. Our guests still talk about how great Stonehouse Gardens was for a wedding. We highly recommend Stonehouse Gardens.

I left this same review under its old name which was Hudson valley hotel and conference center. It's definitely sunset boulevard, past its prime. But you can still tell that it was beautiful in its day. The rooms are surrounded by fields and woods. We arrived at dusk, in the summer, and there were a lot of fire flies. My 5 1/2 year old ran after them. The sounds of crickets and maybe even frogs was loud all night. Our room faced the courtyard, which is definitely nicer than the rooms facing the parking. If you like David Lynch, you will definitely love this hotel.

The hotel itself is cozy, full of charming little spaces, and we truly felt pampered throughout our stay. It's pet-friendly (huge plus!), and everyone was incredibly kind to my dog--he had the best time exploring the hiking trails with me. The vibe is very relaxed, peaceful, and the perfect place to disconnect from the world. Now for the real star of the show: the food. We did the tasting menu and it was so good. I loved the intention behind each dish and how they highlighted seasonal ingredients and the local farm sources. My personal favorites were the mushroom dish and the venison--both were phenomenal. The staff was warm, attentive, and did a great job walking us through each course. A few small observations: The dining room was a little too dark--I love seeing my food, especially when it's so beautifully presented. Since it was my birthday, I expected a bit more than a lone candle. No cookie, treat, or even a candle placed on top of dessert--it just didn't feel special. Dessert wasn't for me. It was somewhere between a milkshake and ice cream, but with a strange mochi-like texture and an overpowering amount of lavender. It felt like eating soap. The quail course tasted amazing, but the presentation wasn't appealing. It looked a bit messy, and leaving the head on (even though it wasn't edible) felt off. That said, everything was incredible--thoughtfully crafted, delicious, and visually stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and the whole experience. Highly recommend--can't wait to return!

My party of 4 was a little early, so we had a drink in the tavern downstairs first; bartender made a great whisky sour. For dinner, we did the a la carte menu. I tried: + Cabbage + Ricotta toast + Grilled broccoli + Mangalista pork chop + Ricotta dumpling + Cheeseburger + Spiced cake The highlights were the cabbage, pork chop and burger. Overall I thought the food was excellent, though I wished they offered sides (especially some type of a potato for the burger). Would have gladly paid for additional sides a la carte.
