The normal school day runs differently according to the class. In P1 from 8.50am to 12.10pm (September only) after that to 2.30 pm. For years 2 & 3 the school day runs from 8.50 am to 2.30 pm and for year 7 the day is from 8.50 am - 3.10 pm. Ben Madigan aims to help out working parents and offer a facility where pre school and after day school care is offered from 8.00am to 5.30pm. The school is held in excellent repute, pupils scoring highly every year in their end of school exams. It is located on the Antrim Road, at the bottom of the cave hill. Set in extensive and beautiful surroundings, the pupils of the school learn both indoors and out in a range of teaching methods.
