The main controlled primary in the area and the largest, my parents didnt send me here and i wouldnt send my children here either. A lot of the staff have been there a long time and to be honest should have retired many years ago. theres a lack of discipline at the school and the 11 plus past rate is average at best. I am a past pupil of this school. My brother and my sister also went there. My daughter now goes there, and my son will follow when he is old enough. The school is superb. Negative reviewers below have no idea what they are talking about. EMCCRUBB cannot even spell the town name correctly, so their opinion in the school is questionable at best, and malicious at worst, perhaps they have another agenda, such as glowing reviews of alternative schools in the area. Why review a school you didn't go to and have no idea about? The teachers are very dedicated to the children, and whilst there were a lot of older teachers there in my day, who pushed me through my work + exams by the way, this is no longer the case. The school is at the forefront of child development, and encourages every child to be the best they can be, through the traditional academic methods, and more non traditional ones. The school has a lot of positive relationships in the town, with land available in Shane's Castle estate for the kids to use being only one of them. I would give the school a definite and well deserved 10/10 read more
