Lee T. Virtel of Antonopoulos & Virtel PC is an excellent attorney for the execution of new legal…read moredocuments or arrangements such as powers of attorney or a Will for an older person who suffers from diminished capacity. The original family Will and powers of attorney reflecting the intent of the family will be replaced and difficult to challenge as Lee T. Virtel will give instructions on how to destroy their existence. The new enthusiastic acquaintance or best friend who have easily identified the affects of dementia (paranoia, lack of focus, confusion) can claim the rights to an elder persons' affairs and possessions. Bank accounts, stocks, bonds and even real-estate are now easily transferable and owned by those who feel entitled to the life long earnings of the elderly. Lee T. Virtel will conveniently make house calls to expedite the legal documents in literally less than 2 weeks. There is no recognition or concern of the elderly's condition to impede the rapid transfer of assets. Even when there are full time family care givers present in the home, there will be no questions by Lee T. Virtel. Lee T. Virtel will not inquire as to why the family is being disinherited. Expect your legal transfer to go smoothly without any inconvenience to your strategy of acquiring the assets from the estate of the elderly target. With the prevalence of exploitative financial abuse of the elderly through deception, coercion or undue influence, the loss of assets accumulated over a lifetime can be devastating with significant consequences to the family. Illinois statute 720 ILCS 5/17-56 was enacted to put some force into the law to impact the financial exploitation of the elderly with a disability. But with Lee T. Virtel and his ability to quickly expedite new legal documents, the statue and the inherent inertia of the legal bureaucracy will not put up any barriers to the asset transfer. The "Notice to Agent" page that reviews the limitations of power could be thought of as a mere suggestion without imposing reasonable duties on the enthusiastic third party who possesses the new power of attorney and Will. There is a thorough and highly informative review of financial abuse found in the publication National Research Council (US) Panel to Review Risk and Prevalence of Elder Abuse and Neglect (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK98784/). It is a blueprint to educate about financial exploitation that families, bankers and especially attorneys should thoroughly read, comprehend and implement for the protection of the elderly.

I worked with Dan, Danielle, and Stephanie for a little over two years on my case. I had been…read moredealing with an ongoing case with my son's father for the last 15 years and it has been tiring to say the least. No one in the past has ever gotten me as far as Giannola Legal has. They have been more than great with fees, court dates, efficiency, and their detail in digging into things that helped my case. I can't express enough how much they have helped me and how appreciate I am for them.

Sticking to the facts. I appreciate all of the work that their team has done, but I don't believe…read morethat they fought hard enough for me in my case and I feel I took a loss and they failed multiple times to be prepared for court. They fall very short in preparation and diligence. I hired this legal team based on good google reviews, which now I'm thinking are mostly family and friends that left those. We had the final court date scheduled for June 15th 2024 and I took time off of work to attend this court date. Upon arrival we were told by the judge that we were unprepared and had to schedule another court date, which in turn Giannola Legal charged me for the fees accrued from this. Before this court date I asked their team if there's anything else needed on my end to prepare for this final court date not only once but it's something that I ask every time I speak and before I get off the phone with their team. "If there's anything else you need from me please let me know" and/or "Is there anything else I need to do on my end for the final court date?". I was told by their team. "Nope, you're all good, just show up". The purpose of hiring an attorney is to do this work and ensure that all the documents are in order for my case and court proceedings. Full disclosure, yes they gave me a heads up about the things that I need to complete early on, but that's their job, that's what I'm paying them for, it's their job to make sure we have everything we need especially before the final court date. I'm not an attorney, I do not know the rules, I believed I hired a team that would give me peace of mind that they'll make sure everything is taken care of. Working full time, mother of four, and in the middle of relocating the kids and I. They very well knew that I have A LOT on my plate. Again, that's what I hired them for. To help me. I do not agree to be held accountable and pay for an oversight that their office made and in turn had to extend this case unnecessarily. Hiring their team is supposed to give me and other clients like me peace of mind that they are doing their due diligence and ensuring that we are properly prepared for each court appearance. Their team failed to prepare and now they're asking an unreasonable ask to have me pay for this.

Recently, after…read moreencountering multiple issues with the tenant and rental property management company, I'd decided to not rent it ever again, but to sell it. Within a matter of days, Mark became my attorney, who was a key factor in the successful sale of my townhouse. I am completely happy and deeply satisfied with the outstanding and professional assistance that he and his staff provided to me. I will admit that I was a bit nervous, with so quickly moving from renting my property to selling it. So, I'd questioned everything. Mark and his staff responded to all my questions quickly and completely. Even, they were the first to call me, on any status updates, and tell me of good news, along the process. I felt completely at ease, every step of the way. Mark is very friendly, down to Earth, and cares about giving the kind of service that his clients deserve. Thank you so much, Mark!

The home buying process can be overwhelming, especially your FIRST one, but the Berardi & Associates team helped make the entire process as smooth as can be. We really appreciated how available the entire team was, whether we wanted to jump on the phone for clarification on something, or get a question answered via email. If you're looking for a knowledgable attorney, who is also hardworking and easy to talk to, Mark is your guy! We definitely recommend him and his team! Thanks so much for all of your help over the last few months.
