His number was $100,000. When I said I didn't have that much money, two months before the deadline to file, he said, "then there is nothing left to talk about."

I was down on my outs and in tears when I started searching for a new attorney to take my case seriously and to take me serious. The day I started calling attorneys I talked to Jim Roche on the phone. He was one of 6 attorneys I spoke to that day. Out of the 6 he was the only one that stopped me from crying and gave me hope. He actually cared what I had to say. It wasn't just a case. I followed up for an in person interview with him to go over my case. My case was far from an easy one. I knew this in advance. When he spoke to me, he didn't care how hard the case was or how much the laws were against it. He took it on. Over the next year I would come to realize something really amazing about this office. The entire time Jim Roche was on my case I never felt out in the cold nor did I feel ignored. His office staff were always there to answer my calls and ease my anxiety. Specifically Kim Mazuc. There were plenty of calls to her while I was breaking down in tears that she is was kept me from crashing. She kept my hope up. Same as Jim. As my case went on I knew the chances of winning were slim to none. The laws in Illinois were against me. That didn't stop them from fighting for me. I was blown away by every single thing Jim did to keep my case going and how detailed and efficient it was. There was a time when I read a response he wrote and I literally broke down in tears. For so long I felt like I was fighting alone. But they changed that. I was no longer fighting it alone. I didn't win the case against the landlords however we received a judgement against the tenants. If I was ever asked since I didn't win against the landlords do I regret picking Theisen & Roche as my attorney office, I would say 100% NO! I wouldn't have it any other way. No one else would have fought for me the way they did. No one else would have felt like family calling. No one else would have been able to stop the tears and the anxiety. This place is not only highly respectable they are great people with great hearts. You won't find another attorney who will fight for you the way they do! You won't find office staff anywhere else that will treat you with the compassion they do. I promise you. This is where you want to go! Thank you Jim Roche & Kim Mazuc and everyone else from Theisen & Roche, LTD. 100% THANK YOU!

Both the Geraci Law offices in Bolingbrook and Downers Grove were very helpful in figuring out my best legal option and were very good in explaining the next steps that needed to happen. Bankruptcy used to have a bad stigma of shame and that you lose everything. Obviously you want it to be the last option for you, and for us, this was our rock bottom. Geraci Law was able to help me with protecting our house and cars. They are really here to help you. The entire process was very easy. A bit lengthy but they need to know your entire financial situation in order to help you. I think it's only fair. When I made my first appointment I had to fill out forms. Then one of the lawyers came to greet me and we discussed my financial situation. After accepting their help, there were certain documents I had to upload to their very easy and user-friendly app/Client Corner portal. I could take pictures of my documents and upload them right into the app. Their messaging system was also very useful and I was able to be in contact with the lawyer that was assigned to my case. Once all the required documents have been uploaded, a second meeting was scheduled. We went through all the documents, calculated numbers, saw what we could afford, etc. We came up with our date to file and our next steps. We left there feeling good about our situation that now we have a plan. Thank you, Geraci Law. This is definitely a lesson learned regarding our situation and we are grateful for your help.
