I was never informed this call was a doctor appointment that I would be charged for or that I was speaking to the doctor. I called the office and asked if they could submit a RX refill to the pharmacy. I didn't need a consult because this was a medication I have been using for some time. Again I found out the doctor office billed my insurance $69 just for me calling asking for a refill. I was never told I was speaking to the doctor and didn't ask for one. I learned my lesson. I guess this doctor sits by the phone and answers it so she can bill a telehealth appointment when you havent asked for it and don't know you're getting one.

I'll be honest--the day before our appointment, the front desk staff member we spoke with was a little rude, which was discouraging. However, on the actual day of our appointment, there was a different person at the front desk and she was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, which made a big difference. As for the doctor, he was absolutely amazing. You could truly tell that he takes pride in his work and genuinely enjoys what he does. He was thorough, patient, and made my daughter feel comfortable throughout the visit. Despite some red flags (clunky administrative issues, very high staff turnover, difficulty reaching the office by phone or having messages returned, incredibly long wait times in the office, etc.) we continued to see Dr. Radcliffe because of her gentle care, calm bedside manor and attention to detail. She was a great fit for our family and helped to justify staying with the practice when we were otherwise ready to move on. We also saw Dr. Kendall and Dr. Bush a few times and were very happy with their care as well. When we found out that Dr. Radcliffe was leaving we began casually looking at other practices in the area but this is also when covid vaccines began coming out for young children. Our friends whose children attended other practices around the city had no problems getting their kids vaccinated but We Care consistently told us (when we could get someone on the phone or to return a message) they didn't have the vaccine and did not know when they would. No offer to look into it or call us when they had other information. Between Dr. Radcliffe leaving and this, we were finally ready to leave and began seeing a new practice in August of 2022. However, what's really frustrating is that we continue to receive automated voicemails and texts, sometimes DAILY from We Care with an annoying recorded message reminding us to book an appointment. It feels like being spammed by a telemarketer and I've finally had to block the number because it is out of control. I think We Care has a lot of promise - they have great doctors and are in a convenient part of town for a lot of parents. Unfortunately there is still a lot of room for improvement.
