The service and the waiters were very friendly and professional. The margarita was made to order and when i asked what tequila they use the bartender came out to speak to me and show the bottle of jose cuervo silver and told me how they mix it. They had live music which was nice and the ambiance waa relaxed unlike at Salon Corona where we attempted to have a quick lunch. This place was right near my hotel too. Highly recommend it, excellent tacos and drinks in a clean and relaxed ambiance. By the way this restaurant is ioen 24 hrs, amazing!

The location is fantastic. It's right in the heart of El Centro near many other shops, restaurants,…read moreand things to do. There is literally two other taco restaurants next door to this place so the competition is high. This whole area is very walkable and there are bus stops and a metro nearby. The streets here in Mexico City are crazy so I don't really recommend driving but if you do, there are a couple of parking structures nearby. Seeing that they were on the Michelin bib gourmand list was enough to get me hyped through the roof. The line out the door to be seated at 9:30PM should have told me how good these tacos would be. Every hotel staff member recommended this restaurant so you already know we had to try it out. The first time we tried to find this place, we ended up getting lost and going to a different restaurant. That place was so mid compared to the flavor here. Although, the nearby "TACOS DE CABEZA DE RES" sidewalk shop might beat this out on the flavor. First of all, the tacos are essentially $1.50USD each which is really good compared to the prices we pay here in the United States. The quantity of meat they pack the tacos with is unheard of here in the states. Expect to walk out of here for about $10USD a person. The tacos are heavy and a really good value for the price. Value for the price is a 11/10. The tortillas are almost sautéed in the meat sauce on the grill that they cook the meat with. They have a nice crispiness to them and you get a hint of the delicious meat juices with every bite. The meat is absolutely fantastic. The pineapple on the al pastor tacos really complemented the saltiness of the meat. The onions and cilantro went well with the flavor of the suadero. The tacos were spectacular. Lick the plate after you finish good. The salsas were spicy but had a nice smokey flavor to them. Flavor overall was a 10/10. Honestly, there is 0 to complain about here. Maybe a couple of the tacos could have been slightly warmer but they were EXTREMELY busy here so I'm guessing the tacos were waiting to be sent out to our table for a minute. Not that the temperature detracted from my eating experience at all. We had to call the server over a couple of times to order more food and get some drinks but they were so busy they barely came. Service was a 7/10 for me. Bottom line/TLDR: BELIEVE THE TACO HYPE

I would've thought Mexico City had great food in general, but that wasn't the case. Was there for four days, ate many meals out and this was the only one I really enjoyed. Too bad the place was so hot and stuffy. It was cooler outside than it was inside. All they needed to do was open some windows. Service was great though.

I come here for the Molé, as it is a guarantee that it's going to be good and this time was no different. We came on a Friday night, and I thought it would be packed, but there was not a soul in the restaurant. We were seated and brought tortilla chips and salsa, and ordered margaritas. The chips were terrible, basically small, uncut tortillas that have been put on the fire and were actually burned. I did get them to bring more regular tortilla chips but they weren't great either. I find it difficult to get good tortilla chips here in CDMX but hey. Things went straight up from there, the Margaritas were the best I had here in Mexico City, one of the best that I have EVER had! We ordered quesadillas for a started, they were perfect. For the main, I had my usual- Chicken Molé- and it was definitely up to their standard- and some of the best Molé I have ever had. Service was a bit hit or miss, and suddenly I looked up and the place was packed! While there are many Mexican restaurants in the Polanco area, this one is a guarantee for a great Molé!
