I found a dainty white bentwood chair for $10 which I'm thrilled about since everywhere else I've looked have sold these chairs for $60+. The chair has a nice antique-ish, chippy paint look to it which I think gives it character. There is such a great selection here and better yet, at affordable prices! I heart this store and will definitely be coming back for more.

I came her with the intention of finding a flashy brooch and I got more than that! The absolute perfect brooch that is silver with a touch of gold and it's a rose- my signature piece. I also found a unique bolo tie for my brother in law. A perfect complement to his Blantons (other Christmas gift). I also got myself one and it's a horse- perfect for my for personal nickname reasons. Service was also attentive and very helpful. Gurl was I impressed by the stock! There is plenty to go through where it can get overwhelming. I would take your time being here due to the seemingly limitless supply of fun and unique items. Their clothing and accessories are expertly curated, fun and fashionable. Most items price around the 20-30s with some items going for more or less than that. I was able to find a cute brooch, a pearl necklace, a scarf and colorful beaded bib necklace for under $100. Parking is shared within a small strip mall and you'll need to ring the doorbell for entry. The owner Jules is a doll and greeted me at the entrance. She recognized that this was my first visit and she helped me navigate through the store. She also found expert sales associates to assist in finding particular items. You are given a small plastic dish to place items in and when you're ready to get rung up, take the dish to the counter and they will bag/box your items for you. Hours of operation are a little odd however I've attached pictures of their current hours. Call ahead before going to make sure they are open.

While much of what you will find could be in an antique store, prices are more like a resale shop. Honestly, if you want to buy a great gift, this is such a great place to find interesting unique things that you will not find at Walmart or CVS. They have a varied amount of vintage inventory that ranges from early vintage/antique, to 90's vintage. The thing that totally sets them apart is their prices. They are SO affordable. I cannot believe they charge what they do for items in a Chicago vintage shop. I spent $5 total (plus tax) for a vintage refrigerator dish, two 90's-ish necklaces and a hair clip that was "gold" and probably not too old, but cool nonetheless. Don't let that comment scare you - the decor and the like is vintage - some of the accessories may not be as old as we think they are. They boasted a nice inventory of cool vintage housewares, and if I had display space, I could have done some serious damage to my wallet in there. Alas, I have been collecting vintage items for so long that I now have to be selective. Anyone new to the vintage hunt will LOVE their inventory and affordable prices. I will be a regular if only to check out their quirky necklaces (on the bottom level).

I will say they do have an impressive amount of jewelry and their art selection was beautiful. However, our experiences were completely soured by the owner. We were by the corner near the register looking at their COSTUME jewelry. The cabinet did not happen to be locked and there was no sign on the door explicitly asking customers not to go in. A guy who I now realize was her husband kept poking his head in between our shoulders. At that point I thought it was just a guy with no concept of personal space. I now understand he was checking to see what we were doing as if we could steal with all the cameras around. He did not say anything to us immediately and I think at that point he told his wife to say something so she proceeds to very loudly scold us in front of her staff and the other customer in the store. She did apologize to my sister, however, there was no reason to behave the way she did especially when you depend on other people to make a living. I hope they can at least put signs to ensure there are no miscommunications in the future.
