Recently I found out that the owner repairs antique porcelain. My aunt had broken a family heirloom into about 40 pieces with some missing parts. I can't see the seams where it was repaired. So today, I brought in 3 piece German garniture (didn't know what it was called 'till they told me) that has been in the family forever and is missing pieces but is still mostly together but is so beautiful no one had the heart to throw it away. The owner was very helpful in making my hunt for random jewelry to pull off a look I was going for. The prices were right in range of what I wanted to spend, which was GREAT. There are tons of things that I want to buy there, but have to figure out how to get them home and into my place, first! If i'm looking for something small and vintage-y, I'll definitely start here first next time! Four stars ONLY because their hours are quite compressed over the summer (and not open at all on Sunday). Most of it is on the pricey side, but unique and definitely worth the time to look through. I did find the furniture and housewares to be beyond my budget at this point, but it looked like it was all in great condition and very unique. I found a dainty white bentwood chair for $10 which I'm thrilled about since everywhere else I've looked have sold these chairs for $60+. The chair has a nice antique-ish, chippy paint look to it which I think gives it character. There is such a great selection here and better yet, at affordable prices! I heart this store and will definitely be coming back for more.

Typically I don't do reviews but I really felt compelled to today. My sister, our mom and I decided…read moreto go on a day of antiquing and our first stop was here. I will say they do have an impressive amount of jewelry and their art selection was beautiful. However, our experiences were completely soured by the owner. We were by the corner near the register looking at their COSTUME jewelry. The cabinet did not happen to be locked and there was no sign on the door explicitly asking customers not to go in. A guy who I now realize was her husband kept poking his head in between our shoulders. At that point I thought it was just a guy with no concept of personal space. I now understand he was checking to see what we were doing as if we could steal with all the cameras around. He did not say anything to us immediately and I think at that point he told his wife to say something so she proceeds to very loudly scold us in front of her staff and the other customer in the store. She did apologize to my sister, however, there was no reason to behave the way she did especially when you depend on other people to make a living. I hope they can at least put signs to ensure there are no miscommunications in the future.
