Everything was by size, all the clothing in aisles. The book area could be a little more organized as they have a bookshelf that goes into the wall where you can't see a quarter of the books, but I found what I was looking for. There's a lot of nice stuff for good money. I got a few things that I was happy about. They had some really beautiful furniture pieces that were at good value. All I can say is that the customer service needs to be upgraded. Everyone was yelling back-and-forth for something. The people running the front were yelling at the people at the back to get a bike and it really was a little offputting. The lady running the front did apologize for the noise. I will give this a thumbs up as a place looks great.

They operate a large food pantry next to the thrift store. I stopped by to check out this thrift store during a recent trip to Melbourne. Parking is tough and I had to wait a few minutes for a spot to open up. It was well worth the wait because the store is quite large and neatly organized. Ascension Catholic Thrift sells gently used furniture, collectibles, clothes, bikes, shoes, accessories, books, movies, records, home goods, games, toys, art, small appliances, and more. Christmas was half off and they had ornaments for only $1. They had a number of televisions plugged in and operating which I don't usually see at thrift stores. Prices were more than fair, selection was vast, and the volunteers were friendly and helpful. In addition to the support they provide the community they are also keeping items out of the landfill and offering discounted items to people who might not be able to otherwise afford them. This worthy organization is a great place to donate, shop, and volunteer your time to.

I can see that they're getting more and more selective about what they put out on the sales floor, and I deeply appreciate that!!! Coming from someone who has shopped at EVERY SINGLE THRIFT STORE IN NEW YORK CITY, this place tops them all by far. The prices are outstanding, and the selection is impeccable! There seems to be a sale every day! I love the wooden nickel idea (both for the community, and for the customers). Half of my wardrobe came from here this year. I seem to luck out every time I go. I've purchased several name brand items including: GAP, Pink, Hollister, American Eagle, Calvin Klein, etc. Conditions of clothing range from good to new. Rarely have I ever spotted an item that's just "acceptable". I purchased 4 fall/winter jackets for myself and my husband last week (on half price clothing day), and paid less than $20 For all 4!!! AMAZING!!! THEY WERE ALL IN SUPERB CONDITION!!! The staff here is the best in the area. This shop seems to have evolved in so many ways recently. I'm so pleased with it's turned into. Even their window displays are cute, and were designed with a lot of thought. I myself am an artist, and can pick up on the vibes that there are employees here with clever eyes for design and organization. You can find higher end items in their little boutique area (front left) along with kitchenware, clothing, shoes, home goods, furniture (including full framed beds), and several books to chose from!!! I'm so happy to support local community shops like this one. It's very clean and tidy here. I will most definitely be back!!!

During a recent visit to Palm Bay, I was able to visit Molly Mutt IV. They also have locations in Melbourne, Rockledge, and Merritt Island. The store was clean and well organized. During my visit they were having a sale on handbags. Other items they sell include clothes, home goods, collectibles, holiday decorations, furniture, books, records, silver, toys, jewelry, pet supplies, and more. There are two full rooms to explore. I love any charity that helps animals. I found the prices to be fair and the proceeds go to a wonderful charity. Please consider donating to and shopping at Molly Mutt.

Unfortunately, the donation area required carrying everything up a flight of steps, which is very difficult for us. I knocked on the door to ask for assistance. The woman who answered seemed irritated that I had interrupted her, was rude, and appeared very reluctant to help. She eventually brought out cardboard boxes for us to transfer our donations into and, again reluctantly, helped us. Since the quilts and drapes could easily be damaged by rain, I suggested they might want to move the boxes inside. She simply shut the door. The experience left us feeling unwelcome and unappreciated. Donations are given freely by people who are trying to help, and a little kindness goes a long way. Sadly, because of this experience, I will be taking my future donations to Nana's House instead. Marcie Ramirez
