As a first-time mom, I was really excited to get my 11-month-old baby's first Easter photos taken, she advertised on Instagram that her photos would be a better alternative to mall photos. More thoughtful, higher quality, and a better overall experience for a similar price. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. When we arrived, I was holding my son and trying to ease him into the situation so he would feel comfortable sitting with the Easter Bunny. Without warning, Summer suddenly grabbed him out of my arms and said, "Here, let me just grab him," and immediately placed him on the bunny's lap. This clearly startled him, and he began crying. While I understand that some children may be scared in situations like this, abruptly taking him from me made it much worse. I believe children should be given time to warm up, especially at this age. She then quickly took only two photos while he was crying and said, "Okay, that's it. No more. He's just going to keep crying." The session was essentially over within 20 seconds, and I was left feeling uncomfortable, rushed and dismissed. I paid $45 for this, and the entire experience felt very unprofessional and transactional. As a parent, you want someone who respects boundaries, especially not grabbing your child without permission!! and who actually cares about creating a meaningful experience for a milestone like a first holiday photo. We drove 45 minutes for this session, and it was incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend booking, especially for walk-in photo sessions. Parents deserve a more patient, respectful, and thoughtful approach especially when it comes to their children. I only wish I had told her I wasn't going to pay for the horrible service. Unfortunately, I do respect a business owners time. Even though she did not put in any time or effort and it is not like there was a need to rush it too. There was no one in the lobby waiting after us.

The parking lot is consistently busy, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: The studio is located inside the AR Gallery. Once you enter the AR Gallery, you'll see the studio on your right. They have an extremely small space with two rooms. One room features white walls, and the other room features colored backgrounds. There's many props from headbands and hats to chairs and stools and more! Some props can use a cleaning, but you can't really see it in the photos. Service: I decided to do a walk-in, so I didn't book an appointment or prepay online. They only take walk-ins starting at 11:30. They're not busy on weekdays but busier during the weekends. I completely forgot his name, but the worker that checked me in was nice, efficient, and knowledgable about the offerings. They provide a large screen with gridlines, lighting, and a small remote. They'll give you a timer, so you'll know exactly how much time you have left during your session. Studio Session & Photos: I chose the 5 minute session with the colored background. You'd choose two colors out of five options. Since I chose the colored walls, let the worker know when you're ready to switch colors. They'll pause the timer, switch the background, and continue the timer. The small remote is easy to hide in the photos. The lighting is perfect, and the photos came out amazing! Pricing: All details and prices are on their website. It's easy to book an appointment online. Since my birthday was three days away, the worker gave me a 10% discount. After arriving we were told all the spots were taken and reservations were booked. We made a last minute change to go to pose palace and we are so glad we did. They were extremely accommodating and let us come in for a last minute slot. Not only this but the owners were so friendly and patient and showed us how to use the room, camera, and props.
