She has added into my treatment the wholistic approach that I have always chosen for my health needs. Because of the type of cancer I had which can be aggressive in nature I wanted a treatment plan that included both tradition and alternative medicine. Dr. Neubauer works very well with the traditional oncologists in town. She is well versed in all alternative practices. I would ask and she always knew what the practice was and who was studying it in the US; as well as research on the practice from other western countries. Cancer can be hard to handle emotionally as well as physically and Katherine's kindness and understanding of this helped me deal with my emotional as well as physical health during this time. I feel that we are so lucky to have someone of her caliber here in Bend.

I have only been in for one session, but I am already very pleased with my experience here so far…read more I've been considering seeing a counselor again the last few months and finally took the plunge. Normally I'd put in more thought & research to where I would like to try and go, but once I felt the motivation to try and get an appointment ASAP somewhere, I ended up just going through a list and calling whoever came up first. This was only my 3rd call, first one to actually answer, and I was able to make an appointment same day. Definitely a review I feel I will have to update at some point once I get some more experience here (and I do intend to), but my visit with Claire went well. Much better than I ever expect a first visit to go. In my experience with counseling, I usually go in and get the same tips & tricks I've already heard and tried for years, and have a hard time connecting, but Claire had several new tips that I've yet to hear about or try and I really feel we connected well. I enjoyed speaking with her because we basically just jumped right into everything, which I needed, and even in this first session she seemed to tailor her advice to me and what she knows I already enjoy and do. They don't take insurance, but do have a "sliding-scale" I believe is what they call it. I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford counseling right now at their highest rate (which I think the highest they'll ever ask is $120 or $125), but can go as low as $30 a session. It's good to know though that if I ever run into money troubles again, I can request paying less, and it sounds like they'll do that with no questions asked. When making my appointment, I didn't realize that Watercup is a "Christ-centered counseling service available to all". It does not bother me as I'm a spiritual person (I don't say religious because I don't align myself with any one religion) but I was worried it might be TOO centered around that... however this topic did not come up at all during my first session. Maybe the next... as long as I don't ever start feeling "pushed" into anything though, I will be alright. But I didn't get the vibe of that at all. This is already long enough so, overall, obviously I was happy with my experience and knew right away I would be making another appointment to see where this is gonna go for me. Instead of dreading my next session, I'm actually excited.

Our coach asked her to see Dr. Hadden. He looked at the MRI, talked to both of us, then recommended that in HER case she try to avoid surgery. He suggested that she follow our coaches' instructions, stop competing, and do the exercise regimen that our coach recommended. After 8 months the disc has reduced and she is on her way to a complete recovery. No heavy prescriptions, and no surgery. Soon she'll be back to full competitions. Thank you Dr Hadden.

Also does not visit patient in the hospital. I had a cervical spinal stenosis done by him and now I am totally disabled with severe chronic pain and can only get around on a mobility scooter! He has totally destroyed my life! I wish I had never went to him but medicaid does not give you the option of a second opinion. He also does not check on his assistants that give out the wrong medications!

You cannot leave. They will call you when it's time. They estimated 1-1.5 hours. I've been waiting in the car with my 3 kids for almost 4 hours and there is no end in sight. I'm sure they're sick of the public and so when I try to get information, they assume I'm rude and treat me like crap. I just want to make a decision if I should continue to wait or call it a day based on real information.

Everyone from reception, the care team and discharge nurse were exceptional, I can't say that enough. I wish I could recall all of their names but when in pain that was not my priority. The hospital was very clean, inviting, and comfortable even in the waiting room. Thank you for such a great experience during a difficult time. I was in and out in about 2 hours even though the ER was pretty full.
