Very resonable in price, and very happy with my Mom's headstone. Was done in the timeframe as promised.

I have mixed feelings about my review because this is such a very difficult business to manage...or…read moreso it seems to me. People coming in with their emotions sky high, most of the time not able to think clearly. Elderly people trying to ask questions but not knowing how to form their questions, etc. My dad is buried here. I think, overall, the land is well-maintained. My mom is not happy that my dad's stone is sinking and wanted it raised. True enough you can barely see the expensive granite on the stone/marker, whatever you call them. Our employee/helper, Norman, was kind enough but at times he became frustrated with mom and started looking to me for help...sorry buddy, you're on your own as this was mom's request. He must have said that the earth spins thus causing the markers to sink in the ground, about 10 or 15 times...sigh, message delivered. He also chastised mom for when he asked about name for the paperwork she gave her name and then he went to look for it and discovered he needed dad's name so he told her in future to request dad's name for paperwork..um, perhaps you could have clarified with her before you went looking for Patricia's paperwork when she said she wanted to raise her husband's stone...not too many husband's named Patricia, but who knows now-a-days anything goes. Finally we find out that it will cost close to $800 to ship the material to raise the stone and then another $300 for the material and labor. Since the earth spinning and their perpetual maintenance can't seem to raise the stone she would need to purchase this material and they would raise it for her...however, as Norman, reminded us, the earth will spin and that too will eventually sink - Gawd. Overall, Norman was patient, somewhat knowledgeable and helpful; we are grateful for that. Poor guy, after all he invested with mom she decided to think about it ... it is a lot of money and after all the earth does spin... Side note, their office is in sad state of affairs...not updated, dead plants outside (plants probably are like, might as well join them), dirty office, etc..

How do you comfort someone who lost their mom at 3 years old and their dad at 16? How do you walk by the graves of 3 other close friends who were killed tragically in a drunk driving accident? They are buried steps away. My emotions are a wreck today. But the cemetery took wonderful care of us and allowed us plenty of time to pay our respects. They were compassionate. In the end that means so much. The cemetery is beautiful as well. And you feel comforted being there. Plenty of benches and ways to sit and spend time reminiscing. Some things will always crush my heart.

I thought about whether to write a review on a cemetery, and I finally decided it's worth it…read more Yes, it is a place of sadness, but it truly is so much more. It is indeed a beautiful cemetery with well kept grounds, beautiful mausoleum buildings and very nice outdoor crypts. Having family members here in a few different locations, I sometimes drive through and look at the beauty surrounding me with every turn of the roadways. I've stopped and looked at the veteran's section and it also is a sad, but thought provoking place to reflect on the many men and women who fought for our freedom and lost their lives doing so. The bronze statues placed throughout are beautiful to look at because they are truly works of art. I attended the Christmas memorial service that they hold every year, and it was an awesome experience with refreshments and music and a memorial Christmas tree that family members can write messages on ribbons and place them on the tree. The groundskeepers are friendly and helpful. There was a time when I couldn't find a certain burial plot and they took the time to help me find it. All in all, this is one of the most beautiful and scenic cemeteries I've visited.

I have to agree with the Clif post. This place really did take advantage of a grieving family…read more The facility is definitely beautiful and I think that's what brings people in. I have never seen such an awful job on a loved one. It was so bad that the deceased was unrecognizable. The disappearance of beer and the attitude when asked about picking up the liquor was just disturbing and unprofessional. Another thing that happened was the fact that a family member left their cigarettes in a "safe" place so they did not have to carry them around in their pocket. It seems that someone there felt this meant it was a free for all and helped themselves to most of them. I am so glad I kept my purse with me at all times. Very little integrity here. The owner or manager really needs to screen their employees better and let them know that preying on grieving families is despicable and down right low. Karma...

Recently attended a wake/service for a family member. Although everything in the establishment was…read morebeautiful, a lot of other things were not quite so nice. First, I have no idea how they could have made my loved one look so unlike himself. From overzealous makeup to being able to see stitches - it was awful. When we asked where we could tuck away our personal items, we were initially told to stow our things in the large closet near the front door. Um, that was a long distance from where we'd be spending our time. It took two more inquiries to find out that there is a closet for family right by the entrance to the viewing room. When the long day ended, it was nice to see that employees ( a couple of girls, under 21 years old, were around all day and we assume that this was their job) had loaded a cart with left over food, soft drinks, wine and beer. BUT, when we loaded all of this into our vehicles, a 12 pack of beer was missing. Just disappeared. Also, one of the folks who came for the wake had placed a bottle of liquor in the casket. It was also missing. We realized all of this the next day. When a family member called to inquire where the liquor bottle was, there was some hesitation on the phone and then finally an admission that the liquor was still at the funeral home. We went to pick that up. It should have been on that cart! You can't cremate a bottle of booze and it did NOT belong to the funeral home. We did not bother with the beer - we had no proof that their employees took that, but everything was intact until everyone attended the closed door service at 7PM. It is completely unprofessional to have kept the liquor. And under age employees stealing beer? The people working here are disgusting, preying on the grieving and hoping we wouldn't notice the missing items. DO NOT send your loved one here for any reason. Truly despicable actions dressed up in a pretty package. Not to mention the horrible job in presenting our family member for visitation. One star is too high a rating!

We always knew that was where my Dad would be placed to rest. After talking on the phone with a few companies, I chose Clinton Grove. Jacob was so helpful and gave great suggestions to me as I really didn't know how this would work. We had my Mothers stone removed and Jacob did a beautiful job on creating a companion stone for them both. His suggestion for the way we could put a picture of them on the stone and creating a slanted stone were awesome! He did a beautiful job, for a wonderful price ( less than others were) and he got it done within a few months so we could have it placed before the end of summer. Others said we would have to wait until spring of next year. He worked closely with me via phone and my cousins in person. He set it up so they could video the stone being placed since I will not be able to see it in person for awhile. He told them this morning, while it was hot and clear that he would deliver it this afternoon. It ended up turning into a storm by that time but Jacob delivered it and placed it by himself on their graves! As my cousin said " Jacob is a beast! He did everything alone"! Incredible!! I would give him 10 stars if I could for all of it! Personality! Workmanship! Timing! Pricing! EVERYTHING! Thank you so much Jacob. I am hoping to add a picture of the stone to this review when I have a clear picture!!
